Theres people who work on oil reserves that claim they have found reserves in the north atlantic areas that would last us 150 years. Its just another evil sham to bleed people dry of all their money (and through new crazy taxes) to the point that people wont be able to afford nothing, so they wont be able to buy nothing and eventually no one will own nothing and there will be no private property owned by the public. The price of accomodation where i live is absolutely insane, none of my friends have any money to spend on themselves and most of their time is spent at work... our culture is a giant farce!

I do not particularly like the word "work." Human beings are the
only animals who have to work, and I think this is the most ridiculous thing in the world. Other animals make their livings by living, but people work like crazy, thinking that they have to in order to stay alive. The bigger the job, the greater the challenge, the more wonderful they think it is. It would be good to give up that way of thinking and live an easy, comfortable life with plenty of free time. should be an interesting convergence between the rising prices of food and fuel, the rising price of fuel raising the price of imported and transported food which will already will rise because there will be more farmers willing to grow crops for fuel...which will result in ever increasing amounts of folks planting a garden, growing their own food, converting to electric vehicles and dropping out in general

"In the uptake of nutrients from the soil food web, sulphur is the catalyst for carbon chemistry, boron gives us sap pressure and silicon builds the capillary action that transports plant sap. Only then can calcium, magnesium and amino acids be delivered to cell division sites for chlorophyll manufacture. As chlorophyll catches light, phosphorous transfers energy into sugar production—after which a mix of sugars and more complex products follow potassium through the silica pathways to provide energy or its storage wherever required in the plant."

Ahhhhhh, maybe the good old days will come back where gov't officials have some fear of the people. But, If they are already planning for 30 years of rioting; the people will need a plan.

The sheer energy swapped here is overwhelming. Let me answer myself. It seems Ron Paul is positing the same overall agenda:

Ron Paul is good for only one thing, wanting legal medical pot. Otherwise, he is a crazy old deluded dude. Why do you think he gets like 3% of the vote (ok maybe slightly more)? There's a good reason for that, he is out of touch. It is capitalism, not socialism, that got us in this mess, you right wing neocons can't be blaming "socialism" for all your woes when you would be the first to admit it has been "dead" for almost 2 decades! It is pure raw unadultered greed that caused this, and what the deluded geezer doesn't mention is that it was this "socialist welfare state" that pulled us out of the Depression in the later 30's and 40's when the conservative basket case Hoover got us in that mess! And oil is not the answer, we need green energy now. So I have the solution for you, overthrow the US government, hang all the oil execs and raise the hammer and sickle over the White House!

you mean the depression when the government carefully orchestrated the crippling of banks, to bring the common man to his and her knees and make way for big business
I hope we don't see a pile of Ron Paul write in votes, as much I think he is a swell guy, a vote for Ron Paul is one less vote for Obama and that means a better chance for McCain |

Let's not nader Paul. A vote for Obama is a vote for McCain, as Brzezinski again leaps to the fore. If you think McCain is a whack job realize Zbigniew fomented and waged war on the USSR in Afghanistan propagandized ,funded and quagmired.

well P, that's nothing. The plan is to have DHS high schools. They figure if they come up together with no outside influences re: peer group affiliations, they will be more loyal to the state.

to those who are still hoping for a democrat(or socialism) to save the USA from absolute tyranny, here is a quote from Obama's recent Berlin speech. Note how he reinforces the idea that the terrorists are a real threat and that both they and the drug dealers must be fought (only more centered in Afghanistan, not Iraq... you know the good war) . So more war on terror and more war on drugs. fucking brilliant! . The only difference between his philosophy and Bush's is now he is reaching out through better diplomacy to try to build "bridges" over the Atlantic and get a few more friends to join in on the fight. yay! (golf clap).
Quote:
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpoi...t_of_obama.php
That is why America cannot turn inward. That is why Europe cannot turn inward. America has no better partner than Europe. Now is the time to build new bridges across the globe as strong as the one that bound us across the Atlantic. Now is the time to join together, through constant cooperation, strong institutions, shared sacrifice, and a global commitment to progress, to meet the challenges of the 21st century. It was this spirit that led airlift planes to appear in the sky above our heads, and people to assemble where we stand today. And this is the moment when our nations - and all nations - must summon that spirit anew. This is the moment when we must defeat terror and dry up the well of extremism that supports it. This threat is real and we cannot shrink from our responsibility to combat it. If we could create NATO to face down the Soviet Union, we can join in a new and global partnership to dismantle the networks that have struck in Madrid and Amman; in London and Bali; in Washington and New York. If we could win a battle of ideas against the communists, we can stand with the vast majority of Muslims who reject the extremism that leads to hate instead of hope. This is the moment when we must renew our resolve to rout the terrorists who threaten our security in Afghanistan, and the traffickers who sell drugs on your streets. No one welcomes war. I recognize the enormous difficulties in Afghanistan. But my country and yours have a stake in seeing that NATO's first mission beyond Europe's borders is a success. For the people of Afghanistan, and for our shared security, the work must be done. America cannot do this alone. The Afghan people need our troops and your troops; our support and your support to defeat the Taliban and al Qaeda, to develop their economy, and to help them rebuild their nation. We have too much at stake to turn back now. |
