TO2: Greens "Lemon Swiss" Vs Greens "Guerilla Gold #3"
I'll be assuming some details here...
1)Greens stash 2)Last years outdoor 3)Organic???Tasted like it. 4)Very well cured..... Live "toke in" with some London heads,3 of us in total. The Lemon Swiss...... Quite a "fluffy" bud compared to most outdoor,Good solid aroma off the bag opening.Lemon hints, but more spicey with cinnamon overtones,a bit like mulled wine with fruit in it. GG3.... Nice dense nugs, golden colours, small nuggets but bullet tight. Sandlewood, hashy, anise(?),touch of berry in the back ground. Rolling 2 half gram doobettes of each.... (Great thread C-Ray) (Just re read the rules..) I 'll get Greens to chip in for the Genetic make up of each type. It's best to find out what the breeder was looking for to add to the physical traits arrived at. "In the uptake of nutrients from the soil food web, sulphur is the catalyst for carbon chemistry, boron gives us sap pressure and silicon builds the capillary action that transports plant sap. Only then can calcium, magnesium and amino acids be delivered to cell division sites for chlorophyll manufacture. As chlorophyll catches light, phosphorous transfers energy into sugar production—after which a mix of sugars and more complex products follow potassium through the silica pathways to provide energy or its storage wherever required in the plant."

Taste.
Lemon Swiss: Very Lemony, nearly Lemon meringue pie, but missing the full thickness. But by far the strongest taste.Holds the sweetness on the side of the tounge.Nice wide eyed start and heading up. GG3: Not really a jump out taste.Hashy and mild with some meat/beef taste in the background.Very indica. |

Lemon Swiss
This is a lighter fighter......more taste but better moves. You can function OK on the LS,clear, lifting ,emancipating. High lasts about an hour then drops off to nothing. I could smoke this all night on the taste alone. But I also like the ethereal high. Could last longer in the hit. |

GG#3
This is the antithesis of The LS. Not much taste, but WAAAY heavy hitter. I watched the guys toke this one and they went down for the count. Not "OUT" for the count but down for sure. This is a long lasting Afi type stone, very Old Skool. The comments off this strain were all positive.Folk had not experienced this in a long time in these parts. And those that had the knowledge were thankfull for the reminder. A good 2 hour stoney high....they loved it. |

Cool thread, The Cannarchist!
I actually hadn't noticed this thread or the "octagon" until just now. lol. It seems like both strains were enjoyed. The lemon swiss was actually grown indoor with hydro (GH nutes, no additives but ph down, flushed with straight water for 12 days). That sample flowered for 77 days on 12/12 and had about a 3 week cure before I sent it. Yes, breederbrad bred that strain and I found that special plant that we call lemon swiss. It yields huge, over a pound per plant easy. I love the taste, smell, high, potency, yield and everything about that plant. The sample I sent was not the best, but still good. Yeah, I find the high lasts about 1.5 hours, but the key is that it keeps getting you high every time. It has very little ceiling and next to no tolerance. You can puff at night after toking bubblehash and BHO all day, and it will still take you way up in another direction every time. But yeah, I find that the lemony skunky smell and greasy lemony taste is just so attractive. In the vape, it's amazing. All round, it might possibly be my favorite herb. I find the high to be sooooo satisfying... The Guerilla Gold#3 was grown outdoors with organics (top soil, worm castings, bat guano, coco coir, Earth Juice catalyst and bloom). I sent quite a small sample of two pretty small nugs that had almost 4 months cure in a jar. From my outdoor, I think this stuff might be the best. I find it has a sweet seasoning smell (used for flavouring meats or something), with undertones of fruit, hash, acidic resin, fuel, and other spices. In the vape, the taste is really nice actually but can't compare to the swiss. Yeah, the stone is very strong and very long lasting with the GG#3. It is heavy, but also very euphoric and even a bit trippy. Well, TC, I'm glad you guys liked those buds. Personally, if I had one indoor strain and one outdoor strain I could only grow forever, it would probably be those two. lol. So, what did you think of the jack hammer? Your Mom? The YM isn't really very strong, but it sure tastes good and the high is nice. Greens |
