Legends of the strains
High,
Just picked up an old timer hitch hiking from texada. He told me a different story then i have ever heard about the timewarp, so i will tell it, feel free to add any tales on origins of favorite cannabis strains. Story goes him and a friend, were growing in california, humbolt and sonoma. They got seeds from friends, the community put in a qp each and a few went traveling to countries of origin to collect seed,. He said timewarp came from a mix of mazar-i-sharif, burmese elephant weed, thai weed, punta roja, a few other i will edit this next time i speak with him.. so the genes were mixed, then brought to texada it took five years of looking for the earliest finishers to find the timewarp, which is funny cause it is not so early anymore. The clone is passed around still, he says his neighbor named it timewarp, and the name just stuck... I do love the original timewarp with lotsa sun it is excellent weed.! puff puff pass |

thats similar to the first story I heard of tthe timewarp. which was that some hippies got a shitload of seed from california, grew out like 7 or 8 hundred of them, and the timewarp and a indica-type sister were the 2 that rose to the top.

the story I heard ..they grew out a bunch of seeds between a number of patches around texada from 300+ seedlings there was one that stood out, so one of the guys kept it in his basement and figured out how to clone it using stimroot, that was 1978

"In the uptake of nutrients from the soil food web, sulphur is the catalyst for carbon chemistry, boron gives us sap pressure and silicon builds the capillary action that transports plant sap. Only then can calcium, magnesium and amino acids be delivered to cell division sites for chlorophyll manufacture. As chlorophyll catches light, phosphorous transfers energy into sugar production—after which a mix of sugars and more complex products follow potassium through the silica pathways to provide energy or its storage wherever required in the plant."
