the brown stuff - Cannabis-World

can anyone tell me what this brown stuff is on me girls? it is on one plant in several areas and starting to get onto my other girl? don't see any bugs, other than hoppers, no eggs, been lots of rain and high humidity, could it be ike a fungus? they are in soil, about three to four weeks into flower now, just seems to be spreading, don't want to take the chance and take them to the grow room inside, if this is something bad. thanks for your help here.

Hey Ole Henry.

I can;t tell too much from the pics, but it looks like budrot to me. When you touch the brown, does it crumble, and flake away, and is it dead?

If so, remove all the infected areas right away. Cut away with clean scissors completely. You will have to cut away a little green bud too so the infection is removed. Clean your scissors in alcohol after each cut so you don't want to cross contaminate. Possibly spray with 1t baking soda/g water. This will cause the leaf/bud surfaces to have a high pH which inhibits fungal spore growth.

If you have the money to spend, and or have lots of plants, some milstop or armicarb100 would be the way to go

thank you mr. senior member, went and operated on the girls, i cut the whole bud off as they are still small, it is all dried up where the brown is, not soft at all, there were several places where i just took the bud, but the stem was brown on the inside, i did break one stem down to where it was not brown on the inside of the stem, i don't think i want to take them inside to finish out, won't that stuff stay in the grow room and get into other plants i put in there? thanks the ole henrys

hello ole henry......i had some worms attack my crop once, made the buds look like there was some dirt in them..then the buds just died..........look around on the small bud stems and see if they have bumps in them.......
just a guess......

i bathed the plants in the baking soda, clipped off the brown stuff, but it is still growing like crazy, one is worse than the other, so maybe can salvage something from the bigger girl..........must have to do with all this high humidity we are having, bummer, but thanks to everyone that has given suggestions, i will tuck them all away for future references.
