Jojorizo Blackberry Widow (a green pheno)
These were 12/12'd on July 7th so they have been in 12/12 ligting for 47 days. The Green pheno'd BBW's I harvested before these had 70% brown hairs and about a 50/50 on the trichomes around day 54 or so. There isnt a brown pistil anywhere in sight so Im thinking these will go well into late into 60 or even 70 days. Possibly from cutting corners with Lucas form and getting a overfert or lockout becuase of trying to cut a corner : )
These are 25 gal. tubs. My normal practice is to veg them big and end up with bushes like these. I intend to finish my G-bolts and Dirty Harry's in the same fashion and then I would like veg. them much smaller and see how my yields are when being able to have better light management flowering smaller sized plants. Im guessing I am on track for my usual 1/2 lb per plant per 1000 watts hps what do you think? Ive had to make due with this room due to moving recently. I really havnt given these a whole lot of attention other than keeping rez full. Im hoping this pheno turns out much better than the purple pheno that was pretty but crap otherwise. Also the pheno before this one that appeared to be done well before this one was also not worth the time and effort. Fingers crossed! Hope these pics work. Peace |

I understand you are trying to use Kodak easyshare? So do I and I use a 4 megapixel camera.
The trick is after you have completed doing your editing and are going to save the picture to file save it at 50%. Then reload the picture you saved, not the original, back into the editor. This time save it back to file at 75% this should give you the right size image around 180 to 220. |

Well what I thought was a green pheno ended up starting to purple in the end. Some of the plant turned darker than the rest but on a majority the buds started turning a cool blackberry fuciaish I guess. Funny thing is that as the buds started to dry they seemed to lose the color. There are hints of purple in some of the dry buds but nothing like when on the plant and freshly cut and hung. Anyways....
2 plants DWC 1000hps ending dry manicured weight 2ish lbs. Real nice yielder even though she throws bananas. Smell isnt so much berrish but rather fruity nothing to impressive but not bad either boring I guess. Taste is average as well although not having a cure. I dont see a cure bringing much more taste out but then again maybe. Overall taste is again average and boring. High is a really non anxiety up head buzz. deff. busy weed. It will keep your body moving trying to keep up with the mind. Id have to say that the yield and buzz is the best aspect of this grow of JoJo's Blackberry Widow I believe they were his first batch F1's were they? I also have to retract a bit from what I said in a previous thread stating basically I thought it was a waste of time. I would have to say that BBW is worthy of more explorations IMO atleast. Anyways thought I would slam down a little report of what my opinions were on this one. peace and smiles! |

Hey BCW1, every BBW I grew out threw bananas as well. When, in flowering, did yours show up? The taste on my purple and green phenos was basically the same with the purple more berry. I don't really care for the flavor, almost has a shoe polish quality in there somewhere. The buzz is good though, up, clear and movin'.

Here is the tale of two phenotypes.....one is semi sativa, didn't start flowering until 12 1/2 or so of dark the other is single cola style and started flowering at 13 1/2 to 14 hours of light. Maybe root bound helped triggering? As it is only in 2 1/2 gallons of dirt.
Culled one other for being a gangly sativa with no powdery mildew resistance and more importantly I needed room. So off with its head.... ![]() time! |
