Iron Def using PBP and RO water?

Hey all, has anyone had Iron Def while using PBP grow and bloom w/RO water???

I have been giving the plants at a friends house well water thick with rust/iron as "plain water" and using the RO to fert with, and have the best looking plant my friend has had yet. Its actually budding, instead of losing all chlorophyll and stoping growing

Any idears

"Well"... I run two filters from mine, a sediment first then a carbon. It could probably use another sediment or two. I have a RO filter that I don't use much usually only for the last few waterings before harvest.

Sounds to me like ya'll are on the right track.
Do you have means of testing the PPM's, EC, or PH?

Ph meter went out

Found out that lack of iron inhibits uptake of nitrogen, so that explanis the confusion of symptoms
