Valcano scrap BHO ??

Hey everyone, I am about out of herb until next week, so I decided to make some my first ever batch of BHO with some volcano scrap, as iI have about a 1/2 lb of it just sitting collecing dust. I used a metal turkey baster, and colibri butane. 3 oz butane per 10g tube fill. I got just over 1g of black foul tasting oil. Tastes just like volcano scrap smells like YUK!

Just curious as to peoples input, and if anyone else has tried volcano BHO.

Its pretty rank and I don[t think i'll smoke it, but it does get you high. I will try BHO sometime with real weed before making a final opinion

Also, does anyone have experience iwth www.kingbutane.com, as thy are WAY cheaper than my local tobac shop

I dont have any exp. with King tane, but have heard that its good shit. BHO'ing vape scrap is worthless imo. You have removed the most desirable, volatile, flavourful cannabinoids already. It might be fine to bake with tho. Make sure, if you have the chance, to make a batch of BHO with actual buds, and not just leaf.

Well, it depends on how you vape. If you use a lower temperature and use a fresh bowl every time, then you can actually make some strong honey oil out of it and actually get a decent amount with nice colour. However, if you run your volc at a higher temperature or vape the same bowl two or three times, then the oil will not be very good (blackish) and you won't get much.

Personally, I vape each bowl only once and do it at a fairly low temperature to get the best taste. Then, I usually make BHO out of the scraps to give away or something.

Hey Bram and Greens, I appreciate you stopping in.

Don't worry bram, I won't give up on BHO yet. I have some lower end Nev haze that I been eyeing for a while to BHO, as it is not that potent imho, i might try that soon.

King butane is good huh, I'll order a single bottle and do the mirror test and get back with ya.


Greens - I run it on 7, and use turkey bags with about 1/2 a joint per bowl, run once, then tossed. I used 1oz trash and got about 1g oil. Very dark and black, but it gets you high, it just tastes like CRAP!!!!
