i cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt!

It actually works in the context of the sentence as well. The beginning and end are always properly assayed, while the middle is often tossed away or irrelevant. However, It is the door to manipulation.

Thank God the human mind works that way. Otherwise, how would we ever be able to communicate with Raider fans? :hmm:

That passage is not exactly true, Cambridge never did this research, and parts of it are just false. Read this page from a guy working on linguistics at Cambridge - http://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/~mattd/Cmabrigde/
For instance:
it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae... it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be at the right place
This is clearly wrong. For instance, compare the following three sentences:
1) A vheclie epxledod at a plocie cehckipont near the UN haduqertares in Bagahdd on Mnoday kilinlg the bmober and an Irqai polcie offceir
2) Big ccunoil tax ineesacrs tihs yaer hvae seezueqd the inmcoes of mnay pneosenirs
3) A dootcr has aimttded the magltheuansr of a tageene ceacnr pintaet who deid aetfr a hatospil durg blendur

for instance ; Easy to decipher
probably since i live in the country next to england
how about some celtic decyphers, rofl
Cymuned- Cymdaithiath i iath cymraeg - FWA- Sais- Allan o Cymru, am Byd
pob traffadd- am Byth
lol
The English language is a very modern and new one
created and spoken by peasants
whilst gentry spoke French/ Flemish / and German
Only The Welsh can lay claim to being true indiginous people of the British Isles, and like the English tried with so many cultures to eradicate indiginous languages in Canada, and Australia, through relocation and abuse
they never succeeded
Meanwhile Tony Blair continues to accept England as eventually becoming a American State
as if giving them Hawaii was'nt enough
Rant Rant , etc
