View Full Version : The Bubbleator
I just purchased a Bubbleator, and I need experienced users to give me their experienced instructions for using it. I have the 2 bag set that came with the bubbleator, and I have a Pappi Ben's 3 bag set that I've been using for at least 2 years. I fully understand the theory of how to make bubble, but I'm not sure how to use the bubbleator. Please anyone with the low down on these machines reply

ideally you should run the water after you've bubbled it through a proper set of bags, the ones included with the bubbletor do not produce the best quality hash
if ya got some bubblebags, you should get some killer FMCD with the bubble-a-tor
So don't use the bags that came with the machine? I was sort of thinking about using my 3rd papi ben bag underneath the 2 that were included. I have checked on greenharvest.ca only to find that the link is wrong. Upon further investigation, I finally found the adobe instructions. So if anyone has any tips, lay them on me! Thanks folks for replying so far! Train Wreck shall be my first victim. She needs a good beating anyway eh?

if I had bubblebags already I would probably skip the bubble-a-tor and instead just buy a 'mini washing machine' off e-bay, same idea just minus the bubble-a-tor sticker

We're just about to buy a Bubbleator but c-ray is right, it's just a cheapo mini washing machine with their name on it. Also want to buy a one gallon 7-bag kit plus some silkscreen for a bit of scuff to mix with it.

Hey c-ray,
The zipper pyramid bag included with the bubbleator is quite cool, and one imagines is not included with a simple 'mini washing machine'. We have a bubbleator, which is used with a set of bags from bubbleman. It is a great combination and removes the 'art' which had previously been required, and substitutes an easily-repeatable procedure which produces top notch results.
The ice in the washing machine never enters the pyramid bag, which forces it to fill with water. The herb is never agitated directly and the quality shows in the hash. :cool2:
Best,
bopper
Well I just did my first run, and I'm with bopper on this one. I got way more full melt bubble than I've ever got from a mixer, a drill, or by hand. The pyramid is what makes this baby work so well. I don't think just buying a cheapo washer will do anywhere near the same job without the pyramid bag. There is not much of a visible agitator, but the water whooshes back and forth into a powerful vortex somehow. The agitator is only a half an inch tall. The quality is as good, if not better than what I was doing with 3 of papi ben's bags too. I'd recommend this device to anyone that doesn't have to use 20 gallon bags. She'll only take 500 grams of trim tops. I think Mila makes 20 gallon washing machine bubble hash machines too, but only special order. I'm wondering if the pyramid bag is for washing some type of delicates. If you could figure out what exactly the pyramid bag is supposed to be used for, and you could find one to buy, it probably would be cheaper to just buy a miniature washing machine. But I'll be damned if I can figure out what it's supposed to be for. Why don't ya try to e-mail Mila and ask her what exactly the pyramid shaped bag is, and where you can get them? Lol! As If!!!!! This machine is by far the quickest way to process bubble. There is no waiting until the glands sink. You simply run the trim through the washer, drain into the bags, and immediately pull your bags! They recommend running it from 3-8 minutes. In much less than an hour you can get 4 pulls out of it. Seemingly without loss of purity from the first 3 pulls! Try doing that without the Bubbleator! It's quick, easy, and fun. And no I don't work for Mila! You get the bubbleator, and 2 high quality bags from Mila for less than a whole set of bags from bubbleman.

You just made bubble and its full melt?Maybe you should let it dry first, then you only have hash from a 3 bag kit to compare it to.Nuff said

There ya go! That's the exact same model, and buy yourself a pyramid bag, and your all set. Damn I'm a fool! But I'm a happy fool at that!

Although the pyramid bag and mini washer can clearly be had for less, we wouldn't have known about either, particularly the efficacy of the pyramid filter bag at keeping the junk out of the hash, without the offering from Mila. Getting the water temp right isn't difficult with the included thermometer, so the process is, as previously mentioned, easy to repeat or to vary with relative precision.
Whether you get the bubbleator or mini washer equivalent, the results should be great as long as the pyramid bag is employed.
Best,
bopper
Nothing like being the sacrificial lamb eh? Oh well....at least I didn't fall for buying 6-7 bags at an outrageous price to make bubble hash!

Well, all you bubbleator users are gonna hate me. JK
I did a little investigation recently, which involved calling Jinwa, in china, wich is the manufacturer of them. They only sell them in 20 ft shipping containers which hold 470 units. Base price per unit. Drum roll please - $18.50
Now, If I could just buy one at that price :)
Yeah, if you are in the UK, the Ebay one will work, but I conataced the seller and it would cost more than you saved to ship the darn thing, and you'd be better off buying it from GH.

I stayed @ Mila's hotel (Hemp Hotel) in A-dam for the cup, and saw this unit at her shop... it IS the same $18.50 chinese washer.
My recent, first try using bubbleman's bags yilded a surprising amount of hash - agitated the trim in a separate 5 gal homer bucket - lots of crushed ice & a paint mixer - poured that ;thru the nested bags - rediculously easy.

hi folks
i worked half a year with the bubbelator, and to be honest , i dont like it
first - that damn pyramid bag , opens everytime , green in the washing maschine and later on in the bags .. wtf who needs two times the same bag ? right idiots ..
the time : you need to make at least 4 or 5 runs, until your green material is used up : now count yourself 4 X 15* minutes + 4 X 30 minutes hanging and cleaning the bags ... (i do 15 minutes, imagine i would do only 3 , that would mean 25 runs at least ... no baby)
i can get in a shorter time more glands from the same amount only by wooden spoon hand mixing, because the pyramid bad has not enough "surface"
alot of trichomes get stuck in the rotor or in the strange outlet hole, you need to wash out the shit (more icecold water .. more fuck ups)
squeezing the pyramid bag is more messy than bags
and when it comes to doing the job ... again less is more .. so why the hell did i bought this crap, when i cant process nearly that much, as i can do regular in shorter time ...
yeah and the quality ... thx god i got the 7 kit bag aditionally , the 2 bag is a rip off , you will get only some comercial grade
noway near fmcd
be wise , invest your money into the big bags and have fun ;)

friend of mine got one of these, and after seeing him use this and the bags i decided all the messing with water wasn't for me since my mobility is really limited so i got a tumbler...the Pollinator ones were way too much money not to mention ya only get one size screen so i got an o'kief http://okief.com/ and i dont think id try any other way since i got the thing i absolutely love it...makes the whole process almost too easy and the results i've gotten are the blonde i was after

after the tumbler throw the kief into the small bags , small bags - small mess :D
i guess this is the laziest way to get to fmcd , combining those 2 steps

Round inner bags with zippers that don't open while its running.Cool.Peace GS
It works for me! Like I said before. I'm just glad I wasn't suckered into buying the 6 bag kit for oodles of dough when 3 does the job easier, quicker, and cost a fraction of the 6 bag kits price. Not to mention just as well. And yeah.......there's plenty of members here who will vouch that it produces full melt. The bags ain't what makes the full melt anyway. It's the hand work afterward. Now if we had a machine that would do that, we'd have it made!

Its shaped like a cylinder.Fits the inside nice.If you refer back in this thread you'll find a man spent many hours with the pyramid bag.He encountered times when the bag opened. An apparent flaw in design.Fresh Headies has improved on this. They have a further improvement on the new design in the works too.Bubble on.Peace GS
I'm gonna buy me a BubbleNow before Halloween and switch to solventless extraction.
I was awoken by Bubbleman (when I mentioned my new Pyrex BHO tube) asking if I wore safety glasses when I did the extracting, and I had to honestly admit that I didn't.
My eyesight is worth more than that risk, so why shouldn't my lungs be.
