this is a radio show that beams from los angeles, that i listen to online.. pretty much every day. the show is on m-f, from 3-7pm pst, and the topics range from local to global.. about 40-60% being national.

overall i would describe them as Libertarian in view, and they get involved. apparently their listener base is big enough, because they usually get results. right now they're backing "send a brick to Congress".. to show your support for building a wall across our southern border. they also hold petition rallies, have a lot of great guests, and are almost always ahead of the news curve.

http://www.kfi640.com/pages/streaming.html just click the "click here to launch.." link and streaming window pops up.

if you’re right leaning at all.. listen for 5 mins and i bet you get hooked.

I listen to them when I can, CM. They're pretty teriffic. I think Larry Elder comes on at the same time, if I'm not mistaken. He's pretty teriffic too.

Vi, i've never listened to Larry.. but given the poll results on whether bush should put troops on the border, <86%> i'd say he's my kind of ts host. i'll give him a listen tomorrow and report back.

to everyone else who posts in P&L.. i know, but i'm used to calling it that.. im going to bump this post every day until at least one new person listens to them for 5min.. and gives feedback. yes that’s a threat.. i suppose? :)

i’ve always been interested in politics, but hearing these guys speak my mind on the radio was refreshing enough to sliver of hope.. enough to get involved again, anyway. what I love is that they aren’t diehard repubs.. Limbaugh.. or diehard dems.. most news sources.. they speak ‘common sense’, to me.

thanks Vi, this thread got put on the back burner because i wanted to listen to the other stations first. plus, politics was starting to give me indigestion. :)

you know, if there was a way to get these stations together.. in some sort of way.. like a mutual website to disseminate info/latest causes.. a way to direct the unwieldy, but willing beast.. we'd get to see what makes this country so great.. hopefully before things get much worse. if this amnesty bill passes, it's going to pile the crap so deep........ fuck.. i don't even want to think about it.

Yep, CM ...

The eventual outcome of the amnesty bill will, in my estimation, be a wake-up call for the masses. We will clearly see if our "representatives" in Washington are representing We The People, corporate interest, or are just trying to create another voting block. The whole thing is disgusting. The wall of resistance is conservative/libertarian talk-radio. The elites and the totalitarians hate it.

here's the thing.. i don't share your optimism over the future if it happens. we had room for growth the last time.. our growth.. but this time is different. (or is that why arnie wants to spend more money on the infrastructure? maybe he's known for a while?)

sure there's going to be a revolt, but i think that's one genie you won't be able to put back in. that place is going to be like a pressure cooker to live in.

good time to go into private schools though. (can you imagine how much the standards are going to drop? i bet CA public schools get dropped from the University system.)

Well, try to be positive ... its the best way. Remember Jarvis and his Prop 13? Every government faction was dead-set against it, but it passed anyway. Oh, and don't forget the Whig Party ... hee, hee, the Republicans and Democrats are next! :)
