Hey everyone, I decided to post up a DIY drip table. I made a few of these and they are super cheap and easy to make. Took my not so young and spry self less than an hour. I will be running 4" RW cubes on Uni-slabs. Hope someone finds this helpful.

Material list (for one table).

1-Sheet 3/8", 4'x8' OSB Ply
3-2"x2" stud
6-2"x4" stud (7 if you bigger than 3'x5')
1-Stick of "k" style white vinyl rain gutter
1-"K" style down spout adapter
1-Box 3" wood screws
1-Box 1-1/2" drywall screws
1-panda film ( I buy rolls, so a 10'x10' single will cover 2 tables)

You can build as big as a 4'x8' table with the material.

First, build your frame using 3" screws, remember to subtract 1.5" when cutting your center brace and ends.

Second, screw your OSB to the frame using 1.5" screws (cut the OSB to whatever size you need).

Third, attach your legs with 3" screws, I used 3 legs on each side cut to 24".

Fourth, cut 2 pieces of the "K" style rain gutter (in my case 14.5" each) to accommodate the down spout.

Fifth, cut the 2"x2" for your sides and attach using 3" screws. I had already mounted the drain at this point. i figured it was fairly self explanatory. :)

Finally, I know you are ready for the end! Attach the panda film using a staple gun and you]re set!

I'm sure I may have left something out, and am most certainly not the first person to do this. But as I said before, I hope someone finds this useful. I just feel the cost of trays from the hydro shops are way too pricey for my method. As a note I do have a small 2'x4' tray that I use for veg. These tables will be for flower.

Thanks vapor. The plan so far is to run a 1000w hps over the 3x5, and 2-400w mh w/ a 600w hps over the 3x6. It's what I have and what the budget allows for now. I have 15g tough totes from wally world, the black ones w/ yellow lids ($10/ ea) and then a 27g for the 2x4 flood table in veg ($13/ea). Now to figure out the pumps for the tables. Anyone have suggestions as far as gph? Feed line will be 1/2" hose. Thanks in advance.

I wonder if you will run into issues with the small rez? i am not positive, have you been running this in flower? how often do you you up the res? what strain are you growing? thanks!

>Thank you vapor. I should add that it will be a recirculating system, not DTW. I have a friend who uses 4x8 flood tables and drips in slabs. He runs a 10g gallon res on each, so I figure 15g would work fine, I'm not entirely sure how often he tops off though. My question as to pump size is that he runs 1000gph on his tables and I don't think I need that big. I was thinking in the 500-700gph range. I have not run this as of yet, I'm switching from being a dirt bag for the last 8 yrs. to hydro. I'll be running Matanuska mist on this run. :)

so i went and got a 550gph pump and a 750gph pump. i'm going to try them both and see which works best for the tables. i will report back with what i find after i get a chance to use both, and site numbers as well.
