Here's a shot at 6 weeks of flowering this beauty. If this photo loads for me I'll post some bud shots too.

Here's one for now. It really doesn't do the plant justice, but it's the only one I have which is in sharpe focus at the moment (& I know you all would gimme hell if I posted fuzzy pics!! lol). I would shoot some better ones right now, but the sun is shining and I need to get outside and get my hillside garden prepped. A grower's got to have his priorities in order!! ;) It's gonna be the best OD year ever, I can just feel it!

I'll get the camera & tripod out soon and do the job right.

Peace,

ps Last night I had my first taste and was quite pleased. Smooth flavor and the high seemed complex. It was late and I was tired, but I really noticed some good energy from the sativa-Thai side. I felt some couch-lock too but can't say if that was from the herb, or just it's nurturing my need for rest. I'll try her again in a minute, it's 11:30 am, and get back to you later about that....although I wouldn't feel couch-lock from anything while hiking and gardening in my " little heaven in the mountains" would I? I'll let local the gang test and comment before I continue with this smoke report, it's always best to have a group-report, I think. ;)

Hey GlassMan hope you don't mind I'll put these up for you. I know your dial-up slows you down. You either mailed me these a while back or you put them in another thread.

Do you know if the X13/Thai is the ones Ray Davies made? I have a pack of those in my stash.

Tal,
After seeing your list of moms I can't imagine what's on your stash list! Don't guess you've got any Kona Gold beans tucked away somewhere? lol

Melo, thanks for posting those. Dialup takes forever to load photos.

Here's a couple of shots as of this morning. Compared to the rest of the garden they are doing very well. I'd say this is going to be a very good sativa dominant plant for my outdoor needs. I'm looking forward to tasting some of these ladys' buds unseeded, as my indoor batch was heavily pollenated. Even with seeds it's a very pleasant smoke. Btw, the OD plants were from clones of my indoor crop. They are about 6 feet tall.

A,
Like I said, this will be the first sensi buds from it. The seeded plants smoke very nice. Good sativa head with just a touch of indica in the background. This plant has zero odor while flowering, but a very smooth mellow sativa aroma develops while curing. I've just been smoking it in joints and it's so smooth that there's no urge to cough and the flavor is light but rich too.
I think this would be a good workday smoke. A nice dependable smooth buzz that won't overwhelm you by surprise. It will get you plenty high, but not without you planning on it. It's the kind of high which puts a smile on my face without having to worry about putting my foot in my mouth. :)

Hope that's a good smoke report.

I think it'll produce well for me once I get it worked into my hydro tables. I have 4 of them going now on my new 4x4 E&F table, along with a flock of Golden Hazes. The X13/Thai X City Lights will finish in about 60 days, while the GH needs 75. Actually maybe it will finish in less than 60 from clones.

Hey GM great work. out of curiosity do you find there to be a ceiling with this one?

To be honest, I haven't had the opportunity to find out. I'm not at a place in my life right now where I have the time to party like I used to. I'd like to get back to that way of life, but can't see it happening any time soon. A wife and kid, sure changes things....

After the harvest I'll have to pass around some samples and get back to you. ;)

Dman,
It is a beautiful plant. I really appreciate the opportunity of growing it. I'll keep posting occasional updates as I continue working with it.

Thanks,

I hope that you are able to enjoy the bounties of your harvest the way you want to again sooner than later, I can't wait till ya hear back from folks, the way you described the high coupled with the ability to continually get higher all the time would be real real nice.

Melo,
I haven't had the chance yet, but I'm pretty sure they will be a good mix. Now I've got your CF's to work with too...I can see how hard it is to test all the possibilities once you begin making crosses. Guess as long as you're enjoying the ride it doesn't really matter what route you take. And I'm enjoying it. ;)

danimal,
Thanks for the kind words, but don't worry about me. I'm partying enough for the moment, I enjoy knowing which day (and year!) it is. There's just some things I needed to catch up on, with myself and the world around me.
