You may not have heard of the strain Jacks Cleaner, but among collectors of Elite genetics it has become somewhat of an urban legend. This is due to a few factors. The first is I grew it for many years before other respected growers tried it and let me know it was probably the best potency hybrid in existence. In 1997 I had a gathering known in breeder circles as

I got my first PC in about 1994 it was an Acer 133 and soon found a great deal of information on Cannabis, certainly not anything like today but it led me to grow chats where I met others that shared an interest for growing. One of the first I became close online friends with was a guy with the nick

From these I selected the best female and tossed all the males. From these was the Phenotype many now consider to be the holy grail of Cannabis, Jacks Cleaner is a large heavy producer with ultra white raised trichomes that actually give the plant a gooey appearance. Heavy citrus with over bearing lemon smell and taste I have yet to see anything like it. In 2003 we out crossed the P1 mother with a JC X blueberry offspring and created JC bx. This first stage back cross recently won third place in the 420 cup in Amsterdam by a grower named HOG. It had a 12 day cure and blew everyone away as he was an unknown in there neck of the woods. There is some confusion cause many that have the JC bx misstate the fact and say they have JC leaving off the BX indicating a back cross.
This is JC BX NOT Jacks Cleaner
We were not happy with this cross so we didn't use the male pool we created and started over looking for a better male. We found him in Space Dude.
This is what Hog took home 3rd place at GN's Cup I here the other samples were terrible and the diesel was better.

This year I started Space Queen by Vic a hybrid cross of Cindy-99 and Romulan. I never considered it something impressive but it has blown Jill and I away. It is extremely potent fast maturing and just an amazing flavor. Pineapples and mangos with a candy like fragrance it has become our stash smoke. We have now decided to cross the JC P1 with the best Space Queen male we found. If you read my article on Creating better Cannabis you know the criteria we used in that selection. Many would argue you need thousands of plants to start with for selecting to be considered a

The seeded JC actually has a slightly different smell than the non pollinated one. I love the way seeded plants take on weird shapes and colors as the bracts fill up with mature seeds. Even the bubble has a different taste.
Hope fully this clears up any questions and if not just holler at me. I have some 20 gigs of JC pics so I think I have shown enough of a representation for you to get an idea.
There are some cuts floating around that are Not JC so if your came from Shroomy420 I ain't sure what you have :)
There are most deff people that have it and grow it.
It makes Great babies.
IMO JTR is better( Certain Phenotypes)

Heya Sub
I was there at 420 cup and was a judge. Hog's entrant didn't exactly blow us judges away it was good and at that time was second best to SourD, which took first and second in the amateur division. The amateur division sativa category was clearly lacking. In fact, I actually brought a bud home and friends weren't exactly floored either. As a hack myself, I was interested in getting the real deal as I know all too well how rarely bx's stack up to the original, thus I sought the JC F1 out. Once I did grow out the JC F1, what really floored me was the fact it was VERY different from HOG's entrant. The JC F1 is indeed an awesome plant.
Also- One should note that HOG is one of the biggest pompous ass, scammers who has ever graced the online community.
Good Luck and continued success with the JC hybrids.

Sub - Thanks for the in depth Bro. Very Cool indeed to have this info as I'm lucky enough to have friends with the real deal who passed me a couple of cuts (she DOES produce hardy babies!) and have just completed my second grow.
It was funny when I read the lemon comments even before your thread...I thought....hmmmmm....I didn't get the lemons as much as the sinus tingle...so I started asking friends and everybody came back saying citrus or lemon....so I guess my nose just sucks! I gotta vape it too now that I think about it...that's always the true test of flavor.
The trich production of this strain is unreal and produces sugar leaf 3 weeks into flower....can't wait to see what my bubble yield will be! Love the high too....really helps with the back pain.
Peace,

 for sure Ive long wanted the JC f1 but cant get a hold of it. I was about to buy the seeds a while back and they disappeared from docs website and now I cant find anything. Seems to happen a lot when I do deside I want to order seeds, always sell out or disappear just before I can order, same thing with tom hill beans right now. Where are jtr or lemon freeze beans? Thanks for the details and pics, peace. stay safe

I've seen seeds at www.cannaseur.com
So the JC Bx is not the same as JC f1? I wouldnt know where to get the JC.
I am thinking of getting beans from you sub, well ordering your seeds, and I really need some AAA bud, with heavy yields, was thinking conquistador....

So the JC Bx is not the same as JC f1? I wouldnt know where to get the JC.
from my limited understanding
the jc is polyhybrid clone of recessive traits that is ok/good
now the problem arises when you try to duplicate this in a seed form
let me reiterate
the original jc is possibly good smoke
the problem arises when you try to replicate it in seed form
now subbie had about 200 seeds that made 1 good girl
so?
we are at 1 of 200?
now he mixed it with a random jack herer?
jh is about 1 out of 1000 if not worse due to the poly hybrid background
basic math here
you need about 200,000 seeds to get 1 that looks like the picture
now add in that skoose?(sp) is a 4 way hybrid so the 200 number is really cubed
now my calulator only goes to 3 way hybrids at 8 million to one
so?
we have a 8 million to one crossed with a 200 to one?
how many packs to get one like in the picture :)
get the actual clone or forget it

Jacks Cleaner is a Clone.
JC bx was created using a Blueberry outcross. I wasn't impressed and started over the results are very impressive with the creation of JTR we now have a suitable pool to select fathers from.
JC2 was completed early this year and is availible but is only in public testing phase. These are notes and pictures from day 50
So it’s been a long long road to the seeds you see in these pictures, twist and turns in my life have made this a 10 year plus project. To be honest I am lucky to have JC back at all having lost her or had her taken from me 4 times. This time AF was a man of his word and totally returned her to me rooted ready and bug free!
I have been running her this time for close to two years and we now out crossed her to Space dude and now that the JTR has proven to be the best thing I’ve created yet I think the JTR father I selected that is SQ dominant will do just fine.
So these plants were seeded about day 23 and its now day 50. It’s going to be a long 2 weeks because these plants are finished but the seeds are not, I can see some almost fully developed but many are still green.
Even though we got great results from JCB and JCbx I felt after the last few years breeding that blueberry wasn’t the smartest choice for s outcross.
Space queen is our second best smoke and JTR may very well be the best seeds I have ever started yielding me 3 elite mother plants from a single pack of seeds (10) So no we back cross to the F1 mom for a P-75 version of Jacks Cleaner

Hi, Sub ...
Very cool thread ... thanks. In your opinion, what is the best time to harvest the JC? Mine are at about 50 days, and by the look of them, they will take about 70-75 days. How about the rest of you guys ... are you taking them earlier than this? Gawd, I have one JC that's just freakin' unreal. I'd grow this plant just for the hash potental, if nothing else. Glad I took cuts of her. :)
Hey, T.C. ... get the bags ready Bro. *lol*

Hey Sub,
Do you know the lineage of a strain called Jack's Hammer? I got some beans from TGA and started some of them, but I don't know the exact lineage. All I know is that they are a JC hybrid of some sort.

Looks nice, green supreme! You've been growing some fine plants!
Yeah, they have some good strains. I've grown their Astroboy (A13 x ortega/c99), Conquistador (cuddlefish hasplant x C99/ortega), Danny Boy (Killer Queen x C99/ortega), Jack the Ripper (JC X space queen), and a lot of their breeding stock like the A13, Killer Queen, and CF hasplant. I also toked a lot of their other stuff. I got great stuff from all of the strains. JTR was probably the best IMO. The C99/ortega crosses had pretty nice yields and above average potency with some being very potent. I really liked the A13 and KQ mothers as well.

Good info. I have some Jack's Cleaner X AK47 I am dying to try out. Man, I need more room!
I gotta move somewhere I can be close enough to a safe outdoor spot! Middle of the city makes that hard. Indoor grow in an Apt. is hard enough!
Hey GS....is that there the Jack's Cleaner clone? Or can I find something like that in a pack of seeds?:hmm:
