server crash

good day, the server crashed randomly last friday and they had to rebuild it.. I am in the process of uploading attachments so there are no attachments right now

unfortunately I was a slacker and I didn't backup any of the attachments from the previous 2 months since we switched over to this new server so they are gone...folks can re-upload pics from the last months though (that would be super-cool)

Unfortunately, something happend during the crash and I have not been able to visit cannnabis-world.org. Either my ip is blocked or my isp is attempting to block me from this site. Hope to get it working soon, peace.

Even though the server was crashed, alot of us hung out together on teamspeak. Was deffinately a memorable experiance. :fly:

ok so I figured out how to backup attachments automatically now so we'll hopefully not have any more losses in the future

if any of you folks are feeling keen about re-uploading your attachments from the previous 2 months, the ones that got lost with the recent server crash, that would be super cool...for instance if you see a post of yours with some missing images click the edit button, then the 'go advanced' button, then on the next page click the 'manage attachments' button and you can see the names of the files...so then just remove them and reupload the same file (you will of course need to find that file on your computer)...

Recently after having my own computer problems and finally getting things back in working order when I attempted to log on and there was no Cannabis-World to log onto I thought, to quote Yogi Berra; “It’s like deja vu all over again.”

I thought that because when the original Cannabis World was taken down I had computer problems and when I finally had things working again and went to log on, there was nothing to log onto.

While I do not say much here I do like to check in and see what is going on so I kept trying and hoping that it was just a server problem or a server change and the site would again soon be out there somewhere too be found. For days though I kept thinking that; “It’s like deja vu all over again.”

I am happy that I was incorrect.
