DIY Section

I have a suggestion which I have been thinking about for a while. I was wondering if a DIY section could be added? Maybe under Cultivation Information (http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/forumdisplay.php?f=1) ?

Many forums have done this to make one big area where all projects can be found. *cough icmag (http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=40637)* Yea, thats a nasty cough lolz.

Anyway, I know its alot of work for C-ray to move all the projects there *grin*, but in the future it would make it alot easier for someone who is looking how to build something and/or for us to refer someone to and post links to a particular section...

ideally I need to add tags to all the threads and set up a tag cloud, which would have a diy link like so: http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/tags.php?tag=diy

That would be great if it's not too much work to maintain. I could put all the dyi's in a single post and sticky it like icmag does. I think doing it that way would be too cheesy, nor do I wish to copy their cheesyness...

I plan on writing alot more dyi's and a new sub forum thread area would fill fast... I see the benifits of your idea and like it. Will it still have an area a visitor or member can go to and see a list?

Should I make you one of those rediculous approval stamps like Pontiac has? :muahaha:

Yea, I have been going through and adding tags to a few of the diy posts and some of the verticle grows aswell. It's time consuming, but I'll get it done.

I'm learning to make my own HPS bulbs.

I'll post a tutorial if there is a good home for such a project.

Toss it up into equipment and we'll tag it.

It's undecided thus far what kind of area to have for diy's threads. I'm actually thinking about ideas for a link to the tag cloud page.

Well.. After 15 hours and reading through +15,000 posts today I sucessfully tagged Basics, Indoor and Hydroponics.

Also I posted Find if faster! (http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/showthread.php?t=6123) which will guide members and guests in finding subjects much faster than before. For example, finding Lucas posts (http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/tags.php?tag=lucas) and DIY (http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/tags.php?tag=diy) is much easier now.
