in the general labelling of seed varieties, outcrosses, chucks, etc...
could we please use:
female donor(s) x male donor(s)
any objections?

Hmm, I'm actually pretty sure that the conventional botanical practice is to put the male first and the female second...
However, with herb we care more about the females. So, perhaps it would be fine to put the female first. However, I don't think it really matters all that much and I don't think we will be able to convince every breeder to put the female first because that would be the unconventional way of doing it.
I guess I've usually put the male first like "Guerilla Gold#2 x Lemon Swiss".

well actually it is convention to put the female first
not sure where you got the idea, maybe patriarchy as a concept perhaps
the longer this thread gets maybe the more will do it.

I always figured it was ladies first than an X than the male. If you didn't know who was the male and who was the female than you would use /.
