I just germed a pack each of vision's HolyGold and SuperGold for outdoors this season. I'm thinking this would be a good site to get a little more info on these two ;) I've yet to come across a description so I'd really like to know a little more about them. I can guess the parents, but other than that I don't have too many details.

Holy gold = BigSur Holyweed x Early Gold. Mid September finish @ 50N
SuperGold = Supersalmon x Early Gold.End of August finish ,likes root restriction,!0 gal pot/bag is best.
The SG will auto in about 10-20% of the numbers. They will do it at the 6th node
You can cull those or get a nug on a stick by the end of July.......YummY! Lets you know whats coming when the non autos finish.

nice...thanks  I had a feeling the SuperGold would be early but the end of August is awesome...they'll be grown right at 50 degrees in the Kamloops area.
any comments on taste, smell, high? looking forward to smoking these buds, especially the Holyweed cross :rollj:

SG is a full couchlock hash plant, huge trich's,meaty earthy texture and taste
HG is 50/50 Ind/Sat more floral in the bouquet but still retains the same Trich production.HG will be a much larger plant.
The EarlyGold mother produces some of THE stickiest resin I've found.Had to boil the bubblebags after every pull to clean them.

100 % germ on both these strains...they're all above ground and ready to rock. ...the supergold is especially vigorous...they had tails in the soak and skipped the paper towel stage  hopefully I can update this thread with pics this summer :sun:

Hey bluemanchu,
I know exactly what your talking about man, I've got some supergolds going also and man they are growing like crazy!! I don't know what I'm going to do because they are outgrowing my lights and I don't think I'll be able to keep them inside for anymore than another week. The others are all 3-4 inches smaller. Can't wait to see what they'll do in some organic soil...
Good luck with those and keep us updated ;)

She's early, tastes good but is a trial to learn to grow.
Teaches the laws of root restriction, and passes on that trait.
Best Bubble I've seen.

Sorry to have to revive an old post, but I need to ask:
is vision around? Is he ok?
I've been out of the loop a while because it all kinda freaked me out when og/cw went down, so I'd appreciate it if someone could let me know.

Yes Vision is fine and tucked away happily at present. He doesn't get on the internet often, but be assured that when he does this is one of the places he will check on. Welcome back. Peace GS

Hey, that's good to know. Thanks for the welcome.
I stayed away from grow sites for some time - so much of the info and advice and work that I put in was lost when OG/CW went down. I'm glad that there's a non-commercial site like this where I can test the waters again, as I just plain have no faith left in sites where seed vendors have a controlling interest.
