"Wet Betty Organic is the worlds superior non-ionic surfactant. Our research scientists tested organic surfactants to find the ones that would best transport nutrients into your plants." - Advanced Nutrients
Video 1: 55 gallons of GH MaxiBloom @ Lucas ratios. 70Lt air per minute. High O2 ppm in suspension.
Video 2: The addition of 5ml WetBetty caused brief explosion of air, then O2 less nutrients. They forgot to mention that the suspended O2 would not be transported to the plant roots. Notice how the video on the right has zero suspended O2.

Long story short, not only do I highly not recomend buying anything from Advanced Nutrients, certainly resist the urge to put "WetBetty" in your nutrient solution.
If you look at the ingredients on Advanced Nutrients, nine times out of ten you can find the exact same product from other manufactures like Botanicare for less than half the price.
But, as Lucas has said, those "extra" products are not needed and you are just wasting your money on someone else's propaganda. :joint4:
Do you know what a surfactant is? or its function?
I only ask because if you did know what it is and what it does you would not be putting it in your nutrient solution. (im sure you know that now)
There is nothing wrong with the product, as for the company thats another story.
personally i use dishsoap (as MS pointed out).
would you feed dishsoap to your roots?
I wouldnt. But mixing it with neem (a few drops to 1ltr of water) works great.

Yes, I do. My dirt farmer brother, (who is floating around here at cannabis-world somewhere), tossed it into his fresh batch of nutes kind of as a joke. /shakes head. The hydro store employee he deals with actually told him to put it into his nutrient solution.
I advised against it, but it happend anyway. :bang: I posted the video on noobtube so that others wouldn't make a similar mistake. Though the air explosion was pretty cool looking, it was a total waste of Maxi nutes. I should of video taped his stupid ass having to wash out the nute barrel too... lolz :muahaha:

I love neem oil, I prefer the pure product as apposed to the prewatered down product like Safer. I also like SM90, but I don't use unless there is something I am trying to correct.

Bump!
Wanted to share a great foliage spray recipe;
A great way to NOT use soap is to use Protek silica from Dyna-gro as your emulsifier instead of dish soap. It works awesome!
One of the BEST and cheapest or cost effective foliage sprays we have ever used is mixing Neem oil at 1 1/2 teaspoon per quart of water with 1/3 teaspoon of Pro-tek silica.
Use this spray weekly or even bi-weekly up until about 3rd week of flower.
This acts as a plant wash-leaf polish, as well as a bug repellent and the silica can do a MANY number of good things to the plant, increase yield, ect.ect..
Try it and you will NEVER go back to using a dish soap again!
