hello friends,

Shipperke here. After talking to some actual Belgian people, I realized that I spelled my nick wrong at first... it's actually a really difficult sound to pronounce, kind of like shhkkchipperke.. so I'm just going by Schip now, and you can decide for yourself how you want to say it.

I'm working for Reeferman Seeds now so I wouldn't feel right being a mod. But it's great to see all these familiar names around and hopefully the new CW will be better than ever!

It's like the Sch in Scheveningen, if that helps... during the war, if Dutch people thought somebody was a German spy they'd have them say the name of the town Schevenignen, which is kind of like Shkechf een nevghhhea... get it wrong and you're up against the wall, Nazi traitor! The Dutch still love to tell this story, I've heard it at least 4 times now.

Things are crazy here. PoM and Bonguru have physical control of Gypsy's shop and nobody really knows why... those of you who saw my "ratted out!" story at IC may be pleased to know that the coffeshop owner in question was checked out by the local police last week, and lo and behold they found cocaine on the premises... Amsterdam is so deeply corrupt it's not even funny, except that it sometimes it does make me laugh and laugh and laugh...

Reef has been doing some amazine reefery recently... I can't say much, as there's going to be an article in HT, but he went recently went into the heart of radical muslim territory and managed to come out in one piece, with a chunk of exotic hash and seeds that the Bedouin have been cultivating for generations... it's gonna be an interesting year for sure.
