18 years for a 63 year old man! Why dont they just kill him! Bastards. Why isnt norml or someother group on this high profile case? Pointing out how ludicrous this is.

Depending under what code the judge sentenced him,,,,, the judge may have sentenced him under a certain code where he would be eligible for parole in 18 months to 30 months,,,which is common,,,

If the feds would have handled the case he would have gotten 98 months minimum with 85% out date and 3 yeras supervised,,,

so he got off most likely better with the state,,,

But it sucks either way,,,,

Brings back old memorys,,,14 years ago we ran a 500 plant opp,,,would start throwing up in the middle of the nite,,used night vision infra green and what a crazy way to live,,,we were lucky and lived through the craziness and came back down to earth,,,

now its all for the head,,,

Life is normal,,now

the channel5 first link was limited info and like one paragraph

your link gives more detail,,,

just over 5 years is less than the feds would have given him,,,

60 grand,,, maybe he has some loot stashed in the other cave they did not find,,,

Also the money launder charge,,,those details are missing,,,sounds like some cash was siezed but not mentioned,,,could have been a civil case with the fed courts

with all the easy-easy-easy, plausible explanations for large power consumption, shit like this makes me nuts.

maybe the earth really is the insane asylum for the galaxy?

...anyone know inmates in the prison he will be sent to?..

...that would be nice if he got a little preferential treatment...in canada, i'd like to think we could get him a nice phat tray of brownies...or maybe a jig-saw puzzle dipped in sid...something to make his stay more tolerable...if that's possible...

...either way...it is sad to see another brother taken down...you know he was strictly green cuz if he had anything else sketchy they sure as hell would have nailed him for it...

...we are the modern day moonshiners...rum-runners...boot-leggers...we have a very prestigious history...and an unfortunate propensity for being on the wrong side of the law...

DId they attempt to or succeed in taking his house? I'd have to imagine the cops would love to have a bat cave.

So insane......I wish I knew which prison he is going too I'd send him a letter or something, thanking him.

I hope if I ever go to prison, and someone makes a post about it I get some letters of encouragement etc....
