BLOWFISH (G13 / Blue Dot / Oregon Funk) F1

Named after the deadly Japanese delicatessen, this breeding project begun when we set out to improve taste and yield "two weak traits of the G-13"

Hi Indi, I grew out one of jojo's Blowfish S1s this winter and it is now quietly curing. I'm trying to be patient in sampling it ;) I'm hoping for that "stun the body but thrust the mind into a euphoric trippy experience with excellent visuals and duration" buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Hi Indy,

Nice to see you here. :D

You don't, by any chance, have a listing of which of the 3LB's Blowfish f2s correspond to which mother, i.e. which one is 'Jasmine', etc.

That info, as well as an inkling which ones have turned out the best, would be most welcome. This version of CW seems to be suffering some severe memory loss. :(

Best,

bopper

I'm kind of curious to know if BF lives up to the hype. Someone gifted a couple of packs of the S1's to me some time ago but since then I've been "dealing with issues"...Ahem!! and just started getting on line again. I'm sure hopeful to try. Any feedback from those that have enjoyed this product would be appreciated.

FWIW, i ran the Katsu cut and love it, top five for sure. i like that cut so much that i ponied up and bought the 3lb's (Frankincense), to test out, even after i swore of buying any more seeds. :smile2:

i guess i would refer to Katsu's cut as the "True Dutch Flower Description/Complex smell". the smell of this one changes quite often during both flowering and curing, plus the high is stellar.

Im desperatley wanting to get my hands on Blowfish. Im hoping 3lb or jojo surfaces very soon. Does anyone remember what the BF cross jojo last put out the one he was trying to pick a name for?

Ive been searching high and low for him on any boards I can think of and really not finding much. I understand he may be laying low but I havnt seen anyone who use to vend at cbay. Anyone seen or heard from him or others at all?

Ddidnt Dutch flowers have their own website at one time? Anyone know if they are still making beans?

Last question : ) Anyone know of other auction sites? I see seedbay is goig to be back soon but never really was interested in their offerings and Doc's really has next to nothing to offer for me anyways. Is there any other? that Im forgetting or dont know about?

Thx any help is great help. Peace all!

First post in new digs, praise to the powers that be (I like the cut of your jib mateys). I cannot say how pleased I am to once again post on cw or its off-shoot! Cheers.

Blowfish is so easy to OverDose off its the panacea for the thoroughbred cannaseur. I have been dabbling with 3 seperate lines; Kryptonite ~ Arcata Trainwreck p1 x Blowfish progeny currently being demonstrated (grown) by Pistils (among others) from breedbay, Pineapple Thai x Blowfish bx (bx to blowfish male beta (1 of 3 {quick finishing, most overpowering scented}) and another personal favorite, squid's cuddlefish x blowfish (quickest/heaviest yeilding of the 3). only time will dictate the results from this work as I continue to propagate further stock but I must also note that the blowfish is one of the first hybrids I bred with that masks the dominant g13 "over-ripening" after 8 weeks, with more pleasant/favorable boquet within the cure products. To further explain, another cross which is g13 dominant is KQ by vic (come out whereever you are) which is considerably a reknown g13 recombination favored by many including myself (sans the inheirant mold, mildew susceptiblity present in humid outdoor crops of phavorable phenotypes). I have found the sweet scent of KQ is overcome later in flower by the rank pungent dankness of g13 which also carries onto successive generations crossed with indica dominant specimens. The extreme heady creep you get from an elite blowfish mum imo is superceded by the favorable fruity boquet whereas in the kq representation of its g13 heritage you will find the energetic sativa induced qualities of c99 coupled with a full force body stone with the veryvery ripe tart mango pallate capable of twisting your stomach in knots.

So I digress and have come to find a gem with Blowfish's extravagant manifestation in very subsequent generation seemingly improving upon Dutchflower's noteworthy material. My overall analysis on its breeding tendancies are still sketchy at best since chronologically I have not had the pleasure of further inbreeding with Blowfish stamenate parents but I am positive this work is genetic goldmine in the sense it exhausts the doldrum boringZzzzz skunk, nl, ww, etc. derived lines and truly ups the ante per my work within this umbrella.

here are some words on my kryptonite....

[QUOTE]Blowfish is truly the best breeding material out there capable of boosting not only yeild but preserving the extreme cannabinoid levels inheirant or coupled with covalent killer associates, in this case Trainwreck. Astonishingly fast vigorously growing stock, and equally distinguishably devastating cured products.

Kryptonite- Blowfish is back and better than ever. Combined with Trainwreck chosen for its hyperactivity inducing happy headiness this one is sure to knock your skull out of the park. Blowfish created by Dutch flowers is my new old favorite based on its wonderful aroma taste and jet powered high. Totally numbing from head to toe, it disconnects your senses at the root! I always thought Blowfish tasted much better than trainwreck and hit much harder so I came to the conclusion of combining them. Very easy to over indulge on this one. The yield is huge and very early. Blowfish finishes to my tastes in 50 days but many people take her to 45 days. Easy to clone and easy to grow sums this one up. Arcata Trainwreck is mind-blowing medicine and world renown for its incredible buds from its viney frame. Many fans of Trainwreck out there and as a result many growers will enjoy the best of both worlds from both Blowfish and Trainwreck. This smoke is like Blowfish in the sense that it tastes so good you will want to keep smoking it. No selfed stock was used in this cross.

Average finish time 7-9 weeks (depending on individual taste)
Average Yield: very high output, outstanding

I expect anyone whom grows it to keep all their progeny for many generations to come. Easy to grow and so powerful you

I have some CrystalLocomotive x Blowfish seeds sitting in the fridge. Have any of you grown out this varietal or know of it? I also have some Black Talon that was gifted to our med co-op by Space Alien when he was still around. I have no idea if either of these are worth popping. Any info is greatly appreciated.

My hat is off to the 3LB Collective who did so much to help relieve the cronic pain suffered by so many med folks. I would like to have given a kiss on the beak to each of them. The grow info they shared and so many hints and helps to many of us here. They were a class act and earned a lot of Karma.

To The-Flintstoners a big ole hug and a Brontosaurus burger for Dino. Should you happen to run into any of the 3LB Collective please pass on the love from the community and our great thanks for their many gifts.

BLOWFISH (G13 / Blue Dot / Oregon Funk) F1

Then it was the turn of a very impressive Blue Dot hybrid stud

We are proud to offer a hybrid carrying no White Widow, Northern Lights, Skunk or Blueberry in its composition.

This...^^^...alwayz confused me?

If I'm not mistaken...Blue Dot was sumthing like...a fourway polyhybrid of WhiteWidow/NorthernLights/SuperSkunk/BigBud...I have my 'exact' notes around here somewhere...it just seems weird DF marketed it & explicitly said it didn't contain any o' those strains...when in reality, it had almost all of those strains in it.

If I'm off on tha Blue Dot heritage...please someone correct me.

I liked both the 2 and 4 best, but can tell you they do not do well in cold temperatures (Yield wise) but deffinately good med effects. just keep the temps above 70

For all you Oakland craigslist readers

There is a LOT of hype in the seedy seed/strain biz.
