A friend with a vapo brothers vape uses the leftovers for cooking and is happy with the results. Does this mean the temp needs to be adjusted on the vape or is this normal?

we throw our vape leftovers out and cook with just bud.

i don't doubt there's some goodies still left but not enough to fool with for me....if i gonna eat baked goods, i want to get baked off of one cookie.

We're like the Overtokes, but I give the leftovers to my gardener.....the crazy monster smokes it!!! LOL

Our Physician suggested we cook with our leftovers....so we wouldn't need to so much product/week. We just got better at growing instead. :D

...i have taken a look at the affects of a volcano under a digital microscope...after passing 3x most of the trichomes have been melted down...

...but...there is most definately a "lump" left over that was once the base of the trichome...i have noticed that ingesting used volcanoe bud, a more narcotic high seems to come of it...possibly pointing to cbd residing in the base of said trichome?..

...since i do not vape my weed to the full extent, due to personal flavour preference, i am not exhausting what the plant has to offer...why not cook with it?..or make tinctures?..i'm guessing they will be more couch lock than the original high...

LO,

He claims the baked goods are worthwhile. Maybe you should give it a try? I would imagine that cooking with the leftovers would be much less harmful than smoking them. Smoking them kind of dfeats the purpose of using a vape.

i'd thought about running the leftovers thru the bubble bags but again, i don't think it would be worth the time and effort.

Toby, that's hardcore man....i tried smoking leftovers one time....that's some nasty shite. :D

LO - The most hardcore person EVER was a guy (moron) I knew in High School. (Before vape!)

When he ran out he would get a Q-Tip and dip it in rubbing alcohol, and then get a bunch of resin on it from his bowl or down tube in his bong......then just break off the Q-Tip head, cotton, resin, and all.....and just snap it down in a bong!

THAT'S HARDCORE BROTHER!

I have a couple friends that do that and call it "Black Gunja." The first time they asked me if I wanted a hit and I thought they said "Black Ganja." Yuck! When things get that hard I'll just have to quit!

Along the same line, I understand that Bubble Bag remnants can be used to make cookies if one is to use four times the unused material weight. My recipe calls for a z of trim for cannabutter which would mean in my case I would use a QP of Bubble remnants (which is what I run through the Bubblebags per load). I've never tried it, but, when having this discussion a couple years ago at the old C-W a couple reputable folks swore it worked.

Stay safe and watch your six!

...i once got stoned with tommy chong's son, paris...he told me that his room mate would pour his bong water through a towel, pick out anything remotely green, and re-dry it...that is so sad...worse than picking up a cigarette off the street...

In college I used to go through ashtrays for cigarette butts, dump the baccy and roll it for my cigs. Most of the buzz I get from scrounging efforts is more due to hyperventilation coughing than any leftover THC. :)

My MJ Doctor told me to use the vapor re-fried to make tinctures.
I've used it for cooking and it irritated my stomach too much, but I was seeing in triplicate!

Hey folks.
Being the curious fellow I am, as well as having easy access to a lab for testing, we decided to run some "before and after" samples of "vape remnants" a while back.
So as to get a better idea, we will be doing several vapes, over time.
Volcano first;
What started out as material in the 20+ % thc range before vaping, and even at the optimum vaporization temp in the Volcano (which is about 374 degrees F.) came out at 11% thc AFTER vaping, and had significant unconverted thc within. Recommended?
Smoking it is not the best method for consuming this material, putting it into cannabutter is the best way, or just throw a couple of tspoons in a cup of yogurt. (gotta get the fat activation going)
MORE results as we test using some other vapes.
Up soon, the VRip, the Vapor Daddy, the Vapolution, the Vapir 1 (ver3) and the Happpy Vappy.

Poor quality vapes I'd say. Smoking plant material is for those who cannot afford to smoke oil, or aren't smart enough/have a death wish.
Try smoking honey oil/bho/budder in an HMK unobtanium, 90+% in, 0% out.
Nothing beats it for smoothness.
