I hear you can store seeds in the freezer for later use...
What about your bud? How long will it keep? I would imagine you would lose a little quality...

Most folk store bud in quart canning jars. After your bud has dried enough that the stem snaps, put it in canning jars with a lid. "Burp" the lid daily for a week or so to allow fresh air. The smell alone will intoxicate you lol j/k.

for longterm storage I advocate the dig-a-hole method, temps and humidity underground are constant, and keeps your stash and seeds safe from nosey visitors

...my two cents...
...seeds will keep well in the freezer, surprisingly enough...
...if storing bud in a mason jar, once completely dry, toss some uncooked rice at the bottom of the container...helps keep it dry in there...
...if you have access to co2 (tank) you can fill your container with that as it is heavier than air and will displace all of the oxygen...aerobic bacteria has no chance...

Heres a cool idea for long term storage of bud/seeds/pollen, get yourself some clean canning jars the ones with the snap shut rubber seal are the ones I like the best... get some standard airline tubing 3/16 (used with air stones/wands) and a empty plastic drink bottle, drill a hole in the bottle cap so the airline tube fits tightly into it. Get yourself some vinegar and baking soda. Place the end of the air line in the bottom of the jar first and then carefully place your buds/seeds(+rice)/pollen on top of the tubing. Fill the bottle up with your vinegar and baking soda and screw on the cap. Let the jar lid rest on the tubing slightly open so the unwanted oxygen is displaced and forced out and no more can sneak back in. Leave for a little while so the co2 can do its business. When you think theres no more oxygen left ( i leave for about an hour) carefully pull the airline tubing out the jar and snap the lid shut.......Store somewhere dark, cool and stealthy..:pipe:
