OK this is a new one for me. At the end of March I popped my last LUI bean and put it outside. It took off in the balmy Florida sun and looked nice and healthy. I was hoping for a female that I could let get nice and bushy so I could take a bunch of clones to test out my DYI NFT setup. Well female she certainly was. When it hit six nodes it showed sex. "Cool!" sez me. But she kept putting on the hairs and forming buds. So I figure it's just confused and once the days get a little longer she will revert to veg. The end of April comes along and I've got a fat bud over a foot tall, no sign of reverting to veg and still putting out white hairs and a nice coating of sugar.

So I figure what the hell, let's see what it wants to do and just let it do what it wants. Well, it looked like it wanted to revert to veg, as a bunch of hairs started browning and the top nodes started to lengthen. But damned if it didn't just start putting out white hairs again and the top is forming a nice little cola with a bunch of new hairs. It smells great too!

I have planted outside at the beginning of March many times and never had a plant do this. Anyone have a clue?

LUI, is a cross of on Ortega female and a Sweettooth #2 male.

The Sweettooth genetics come from Sweetpinkgrapefruit.
Now the SweetpinkGrapefruit cutting show sex under 18 hours of light.
Also, once flowering begins she will usually continue to flower.

Im guessing your pheno of LUI is showing the traits of the Great Grandmother.

Did you get a clone?
That would make a great clone to put out summer after summer.
Peace ODD

I suspected as much from what I've read on the SPG. No clone though, she went straight to flower. I may try to take a clone and put it under 24 hours light to see if it will revert. We are halfway through June and it keeps putting on more bud.

Thanks for the insight
