what to do with stems?

I've always been a pretty indiscriminate thrower of stems. But do stems contain enough cannabinoids to make one high? I have noticed my fingers get really sticky after handling stems. Can they be smoked for example in a vaporizer or used for cooking perhaps?

Bubbleman tells me stems make very white bubble as there is very little green matter to contaminate it. Personally I have just tossed it, but might be worthy of a test one day. Peace GS
