In Her Shoes.
My wife got it and I wrote it off as a chick-flick and wasn't going to watch, but I did anyway.
Turns out its a very good film with top notch character performances.
Recommended.

Last 3 were :

Lord Of War - I'm with the others. I found the stats during the credits to be interesting.

Two For The Money - An interesting story, if you have any interest in sports handicapping. Will make you think if you have ever used a tout service, for sure.

Doom - Had to, even though I heard it was lame. Medium grade action fare, some cool effects. Biggest complaint was that they put Rosamund Pike in a nice thin shirt and then covered her up in a lab coat all movie long, but for three nice shots. All I can say is that she was happy to be there, or the AC was on high in the studio. The first person sequence is a cool trip down memory lane.

btw... bat- watching tv IMHO is different than watching a movie.. (well semantics crap) ... you would enjoy the movies more than just T.V.

Watched "Scotland, PA" last night. Shakespeare's MacBeth set in white trash, mid-70's Pennsylvania. I'm still not sure if I liked it, but at least it had Christopher Walken as McDuff... :)

As for TV, if you don't have a Tivo, you're a generation behind. If you watch more than a little TV, Tivo will change your life.

Just finished Talking Heads "Stop Making Sense" for like the 25th time. Still the gold standard for concert films. Even non-Talking Heads fans find it entertaining.

For something from this millenium try "Elizabethtown". Great performances abound, and a great soundtrack to boot!

Just got done watching Carlitos Way Rise to power,it wasn't as good as I expected."When Ya got em on the hook they tell ya everything."
Getting ready to check out Jarhead.I'm a sucker for a war flick. Just a little herbage intermission. take it easy.
