Was wondering when is the best time to flush the nutes? I have a fast flowering period 42-45days... not sure if i should stick with the traditional 2 weeks of flushing or if i can wait just a little longer since this strain im growing flowers so fast. I want to let it absorb as much nutrient as possible without having any residuals in the finished product... 13 days left of flowering as of today!!! Im so excited..wish i could share it with the world! Any advice is appreciated.. Thanx...

I go longer than 2 weeks on all my strains even a 45 day BMS F2. I've tasted GS's weed and he goes three, and so do I now. By the time I harvest the plants have nearly trimmed themselves as most of the fans have yellowed and dropped off which makes for clean burning, tasty weed that doesn't need a whole lot of cure time to get it's optimum taste. So I say start flushing now with a little molasses (blackstrap) in the water.

Sounds Good. I will start flushing next watering. I have some clearing concentrate im gonna use but, you say mollases? Is blackstrap the brand? Let me know and i will get some and on my next batch i will check it out..And also was wondering how runoff do i want to achieve each time i flush? Thanx everybody... How much of the molasses should i mix with 1 gal?

clearing concentrate is a quick and dirty method for flushing chemical nutrients from the plant, good for folks who like to feed all the way to the end

when you 'flush' your plant with water it uses it's reserves of energy in it's leaves and roots to finish flowering, like it does in nature

You should be able to find molasses in any grocery store in the baking section and be sure to get blackstrap, meaning unsulfered, molasses. Health food stores will also have it. I use between 5-10 ml per gal. (I just kinda guess it) I'm sure somebody will know the exact amount that should be used and will pipe up.

"Clearing concentrate is a quick and dirty method for flushing chemical nutrients from the plant, good for folks who like to feed all the way to the end." GS quotes C-ray.
Thanks for that man, I have been arguing this point since these things have come out. Water rules and clearers drool. C Monsta rulez too. Peace GS

i am smoking some blockhead that was done organic soil mix and teas.,.,\no flush at all it burns nice and white and clean.,.,
most of the time with bottled nutes you need a good 3 weeks flush.,.,depends too if the plant is a heavey feeder.,.,

hey i was wonderin....During flushing..Should i use molasses every time i flush? or should i use wate in between? And also was wonderin (little off the subject) what could cause a harvest window do be delayed. I have a 45 day flower and its day 41 and it seems way behind. still alot of white fresh pistils and the trichomes are just stating to become cloudy, in some ares.. Would too much fert during flowering cause this? thanx for any advice.....

flush the crap outa them with springwater and kut them when the trics are done

"flowering days" in the seed catalogs can be very variable, dont trust them. find out yourself

also try to harvest when the strawberrys are red.
and not because its whensday

you guys..sheesh..what would the antiflush say:hombre:

prolly "mmmm...1200ppm"

one needs to do more then just add some water with hopes of dilution of chem salts in the plant/media..measuring flush runoff is the surest way to adjust your smoking ppm.. the media must be depleted to allow the plant to deplete the accumulated nutrients, finishing itself up:kind: cut samples are a fun way to see if its clear.
