quantum digital ballast

has anybody heard about this ballast its adjustable from 150- 1000 watts.It seems like it would save power.you wouldnt have to run it full blast all the time for like clones for instance.slowly adjust it as the plants get older to a higher power

where did you get your info from? the site is only a welcome page, no info on it.

Any word on it's effect on bulb lifetime? Is it just a regular digital with some type of 'dimmer' switch? Sounds cool! And your right, could be useful...esp for giving reduced light at last two weeks of flower to simulate the Sun's reduced strength at that same genetic time period...

yes gojo I found it on another site,the guy bought 1 and said he loved it ,he said he got it from a ncali shop,Im trying to find out where and another guy bought 1 and said he loved it,so Im waiting on a reply .Im picking there thread apart .the prices 400w was $189 the 600 was $204 and 750 was $267 and the 1000w was $393 and the guys asked him were he bought it and that was the site he gave.I know not very much info but let me dig a little more and I will give you some more sites.

gojo IM struggling to find a site that sales these things. The guy said check {gotta grow} and and {all seasons} but I didnt see them at either of thes sites, maybe I missed something, I staid up untill 2 am looking for them. IM going to keep trying, These guys are saying the love this thing and there power bill was cut in half, and they said there yield was better because they gradually increased the light , I think the incraments were 25% to 50% to 75% to a 100% and the thousand watter put more than a thousand watts out and that price is killer,thats crazy these guys are putting seedlings under a thousand watter.he said a lot of n-cali have them , maybe help me brainstorm this shit. IM going back to digging,let me know if you find anything.

alright the guy told me he asked his local grow shop about the quantum and they didnt have it ,he gave them that site with no info on it and he said the next week he was growing with it, He told me to call a bunch of n-cal grow shops and he thinks they will have them, HE told me he has bought 6 lumatek ballast and 4out of the 6 were screwed up. Im hearing some bad things about lumateck. he says that lumatec makes the hydro store buy mass quantaties of them,so there trying to go the quantum way, just so they are not over stocked with ballast,to me the best ballast is the extrem with lifetime warranty,I found this site with extrem ballast and free shipping on all there gear http://www.somocohydro.com/bal-1000x.html.. im going to start calling some hydro stores though.

Purchased mine a month ago. Very happy with it, like the fact that I can throttle the thing at 50-75-100% of full power.
