scrog pics anyone?

Hi all,

7 days at 12/12 into my first scrog grow.
everything seems to be looking good. (i think)

1 feminized durban poison
1 feminized hempster

using pw's pruning method.

any advice????

also I would REALLY like to see some other scrog pics if anyone has any.
especially one right before harvest.

you need to veg it longer before flowering if you want to fill the screen

rattman your plants look wilted a little,nothing that cant be fixed, looks pretty cool, I thought you did scrog when your limited on space ,you look like you have the room to let the puppys get big. how long did you veg for? not ragging you bro your gear looks tight,dont worry man some one will get on here and give you some good advice about the scrog.

Just keep vegging until the screen is full underneath.This takes time.

Once the screen is full, flip into flower.After 2 weeks trim off everything below the screen and move the branches above it around ,if you can, to get an even canopy.

Patience is the key.

Hi all, and thank you SO MUCH for the input!

I will continue to post pics every week so we can all see the progress.

Cannarchist.... I'm already 9 days into 12/12. The girls are really going crazy and filling in the screen right now. I don't think i could have waited any longer on the hempster cause she is really branchy and will fill the screen with no problem. The durban poision is a lot stubbier and probably could have veged a bit longer.

I hope you are all proud of me :) .... I took your advice and got big pots for roots!!! actually.... they are rubbermaid 14 gallon storage bins with holes drilled into the bottom.

Even if i did start early.... no big deal.... i have clones of the moms in the flower box.
i was real eager to get my first grow going. even if yield was low... not a big deal.... output is for me and my girlfriend only... not for sale.... so whatever i get... it will be plenty!


haze2.... the reason im going scrog is cause of cannarchist's advice from an earlier post. i only want 2 plants flowering and 2 plants in veg to keep my plant count down, but i wanted to maximize yield..... so it was reccomended that i scrog. I'm lucky cause i have plenty of space but i love to be stealth... so i have a 3x4' 6 foot high flower room and 2x2x6 veg room.

i have learned a lot already..... like... never use chicken wire with 1 inch holes! way too small! i lost 4 bud sites trying to pull them through the holes before i realized that these little holes were too damn small. :) the 2x3' screens work great! also....

i cant believe how different these two strains grow.... one branchy and one tight and bushy.

i'd still love to see some other scrog grow pics if anyone has any!!

this screen is 3ftx4ft wide,this plant was put under the screen 5 days ago(moved from veg room)it is under a 400hps.the plant is a hindu kushx black domina from willy jack seeds.the reason i scrog isnt lack of space but as we all know,the law doesnt go by the weight of a grow but by the number of plants.

i use pbp nutrients,using epsom salts for the required mag.(ro water)and a bloom booster in 3rd week of flowering called bud builder by flatlander fire.i leave it as is for 2 weeks using a mix of grow and bloom nutes.at this point i trim all of under the screen that has not reached.drain the res.go to straight bloom nutes for a week,do a res change adding first the epsom salt then the bud builder and then top up my ppm with bloom to 1250ppm.this has been very sucessful in the past for me.any questions or remarks are most certainly welcome!!!

how big was your crop wiv bb cheese ive got 2 in a hydro scrog system at the min guna put them into flower in 3 weeks im only useing a 250 cfl will this effect my yeild much?

if im correct the plant was at about 2 to 3 weeks bloom
it yielded about 10 or so oz
vegged very very long
pics were taken after the bottom was cleared of leaves

this is the first time using this site so bare with me and my pics

when working with the scrog you should always try and grow them up first ,preferable at 1 ft, then introduce bending to the young plant, move it down every 2 day till the plant is horizontal this will give side shoots time to adjust to the light being moved around,, this works like a head start to the screen ,so then all you have to do now is position the new growth where you want it ,after 2 weeks under a halide the mash will almost be full and with an even canopy ,if some grow faster than others just keep feedind it through the mesh till the rest catch up ,,,,, hope this helps al ad ma pics soon as i sort out ma profile....................c,mon the advanced techniches

killer queen @ 38 days and there last , I had to move house on this day
so they didn't quite get finished .

I got this girl from the original release coming out of the seed size trials
got 9 girls and over a couple of years kept this one .
very fast and potant.

During a break for some years she was in ther care of others
thankfully the guys I shared this cut with only grow this
one plant now so getting her back was easier than I had thought.

grown in dirt , and fed on various nutes and worm juice I had lying around
3 plants under a 250 hps

what is the sq footage of the canopy?

I think its about 3.6 sq/ ft.. yield wise around 4/5 oz
at a guess as I don't bother weighing it.

AF in sog does bump the g/watt regularly with KQ, something I've only
done once or twice over a lot of years.
