those whoīve tried it, good or bad? Easier, better than the usual methods, is it worth the cash or not. Iīve read some good reviews but I want to know your opinions too.

waste of money....... you can make a metal one for $6, why buy plastic for $40?

Go to your local Loblaws, Canadian Superstore or whatever Loblaws owned chain is nearby and go to the kitchen gadgets section and get the stainless steel turkey baster, the one that has a needle that screws in the end. Then snip the needle off with a pliers and drill out the hole just big enough that the butane can tip fits, get a ring clamp and some coffee filters and waa-laa you on your way to BHO bliss.

I thought itīs metal not plastic. I like the technique tho. Seems cheaper than ISO and ethanol somehow. But maybe itīs not.
I saw a DIY report on another forum with pics. maybe I wonīt buy that one.
Iīve never made hash or oil myself because I prefer the green. But the oil seems good for storage and itīs more discreet. Plus I was hoping to get a better profit when I sell it to make my money back and maybe make a little profit -if I manage to sell anything at all that is. What do you guys think?

Gourmet kitchen stores should have stainless turkey basters or if you have anyone close who is handy with a welder use a stainless bicycle seat stem and weld a cap on one end with a tiny hole for the butane nozzle which will work very well also.

I woul dsay it is definitely cheaper making oil with butane once you have the hang of it. A $3 dollar can usually does 2-3 runs through a tube which can work out to as much as 5+ grams of oil per can of butane, and all nice clear honey oil too :)

Yeah Iīll be making one myself. Donīt have wielding equipment but soldering should do the trick. Íīve worked a lot with metal in the past. seems pretty easy building those things. Not sure about the coffeefilters though.
What do you call those filters they use in schience class at school again? Those are great! iused to filter terps with them to get oil paint out.

found a thread in another forum. this person used an empty can for shavinggel or so. Wouldnīt pick anything under pressure myself however. This person said he spent an hour cleaning his room afterwards :Noooo:

Two coffee filters put over the end of the tube and held on with a hose clamp will work just fine.
