I've been using the Super Tea Mix (5-5-1) in veg and like it, no probs with over-nuting. The Guano Company make a variety of products and wormsway.com sell a package called "International House of Guano"-- check out:

I used to use them. Now I just stick with the plain old guanos, but supertea and budswell work great. I used them every watering though. Once plants would get a couple weeks (or start needing ferts) old I would use about a tablespoon of of the supertea per gallon of H2O. Do that for a couple waterings then use two tablespoons. Do that for a couple waterings then use three throughout veg.

Once I would switch to flowering I would use a tablespoon of the super tea and 3 tablespoons of the budswell per gallon of water. I would use that combo half way through flowering and then switch to just three tablespoons of the budswell. And flush for the last two to three weeks with plain water. I suppose if you were growing a hundred -day plus flowering strain it would be necessary to give it some of the super tea after the halfway point through flowering.

I would use just a good potting mixture (preferably organics with barely any added nutes). I also used maxicrop every watering, and every few weeks I would add a teaspoon of epsom salt per gallon of water for the Mg.

This is all a tea of course....should have mentioned that at the start, as I think you can mix the products into the soil. PH was never a problem, but I would suggest testing as we probably have different water supplies.

Lastly I am a big spray'ngrow fan. This method always has worked for me.

Oh oh Oh oh Oh....also forgot to mention that I would always mix a healthy amount of worm castings into the potting mix! The worm casting lovers would be pissed if I didnt give the poop the props it deserves.
