ANY1 use these? i have a 120 site ez cloner which worked great to start. 106/120 the first time and 116/120 the second. then things went downhill.
i have been playing with the solutions, what do you use? the roots are fine; its the top part of the clone that seems to wilt. 400w MH and 24/7

Throw away the neoprene discs and use green paper coated tie wire to keep them from dropping in.
And a lid helps.

Could it be the heat related? I cloned under florescent shop lights.. never tried a 400watt HID before. For me, four 10x20 trays fit under two standard 4 foot (forty watt) double florescent tube fixtures, and at 160 watts never had heat problems. Of course when the plants get trannied the lights increase. The HID could also potentially have more UV, regardless of what the glass is supposed to filter. UV could be stress at the wrong time for a clone, but the white lite is nice. The wilting makes me think of environmental conditions, and to be "domed" could also be beneficial in that regard.

what is your water temp? Do you bleach your system in between your cycles?

yes all 4 times it was same light, same temps; water and room. 2 successful and 2 crap. it had us stumped. these take around 2 weeks to grow out but they are fantastic in size. then we realized that the first 2 times we cut IN THE VEG ROOM. the second 2 times we filled the top in another part of the house and then carried back to the clone room. this takes time to do 120 and the gel was falling off; allowing air to the stem.
we now use a light feed fert mix of N/P/K and ROOTJUICE by GHBB. all equal measurements and get roots appearing in a week but 10 days to grow out.
