I hope you guys can help me pick the right strain(s). Iīm looking for a good painkiller - back, sciatic nerve, spine that leaves my head as clear as possible, so can still do my work. i know LUI is a good for pain but Iīve never smoked it so I dunno how itīll affect me. But painkillers usually help with sleeping problems too. In fact Orange bud and skunk 1 helped cure my insomnia way back before.
And even more important a good strain to help fight depression, if there is one. And in this case even more so I need to be able to go about my work. A smoke that has a motivating, uplifting effect.
A few points I should mention:
Iīm a total lightweight.
I can only do a window/ balcony grow at this point, so short plants would be ideal.
The smell, not just when growing but mainly when Iīm smoking. gotta be really careful there!
A safe place to buy from also - I donīt have a credit card!
I really hope you guys can help me Iīd be so grateful!

Rosetta Stone MMMMM.
I have Rosetta Stone Crossed w/ Sour Larry. Very nice stuff.
Can be ordered from Elite Genetics. If you go to CannaWorld you can mail-order direct and won't need a C.C. I have always ordered from E.G. and others there on a cash basis and have not been disappointed. If you see something there from someone other than E.G. or Motarebel then ask around the site. If someone is a rip off, you'll hear about it b/4 you order.

Cheers guys.
Iīll think about those. I guess LUI would be ideal for pain really and for my growing conditions too coz itīs so small. Whatever I grow it needs to do well in my climate region.
Iīm surprised about the blueberry for depression tho because itīs mainly indica.
Can you tell my more about the effects of Rosetta Stone? Whatīs it like exactly and is it easy to grow?
I read about someone using a particular strain for Bipolar depression some time ago but I canīt find the $&%$/%& thread anymore. Iīm pretty sure it was here on CW tho.
Maybe I should register at cannaworld too huh ;)
If anyone has more suggestions for a `happyī strain please post! thanks
Gotta go home now :( see ya

Any good Thai hybrid works for depression.
I really should try a Vision x LUI cross to fit that bill,

Cheers, I guess I gotta do some more searching around hope it doesnīt take me too long to decide, I really wanna get going ;)
I do realize that it wonīt actually cure depression as such, but it might well help combat the symptoms somewhat. And in a way so I can still get in the car and drive and without the munchies - Iīm trying to loose weight grin.
I really should try a Vision x LUI cross to fit that bill,
How tall does that one get, TC?

Okay Iīve decided to give Lowryder a try (for depression) .
If it doesnīt do anything for me thereīs still enough time left to try out another strain on the balcony or other this year, seing as lowryderīs so damn quick. I think thatīs an ideal strain search solution for now.
If not, maybe bubbleberry or Early riser sounds good too tho itīs pretty tall, but that `uplifting and motivationalīhigh is exactly what I need.
How badīs the munchies with Lowryder btw (Iīm trying to loose some weight! :teeth:

I dont think lowryder is what your looking for.
I dont think marijuana is what your looking for either.
Have you ever heard of Bachīs Rescue Remedy? Very good for depression and stress. Its a homeopathic remedy that works very fast.
Also go to your local essential oil supplier (organic if at all possible) and ask them for a recommendation.
Most citrus smelling oils will be uplifting. There are many blends you will find uplifting and will work as anti-depresants.
Plus its legal!

no they wonīt work for me Iīm afraid! Iīll do a search on that Bach however Iīm curious now.
Stuff like oils etc do not work for a real depression, sometimes when youīre a little down/depressed yeah but thatīs it. eg I make myself fresh orange juice everyday - thatīs my main food till luchtime basically plus other fruits and itīs had no reall effect on my depression whatsoever, I wish it were that easy - Iīd have been doing great for the past couple of years!
if you dont have any anxiety related to the depression I would go for a killer soaring sativa ala SupersilverHaze or something like it... Lowryder would just make you more depressed if you look after some good smoke....
walking in the woods, eat well, sexual relationship help good with depression for me....
a holiday if you lost your head
weed can be used as a psyciatric, but you have to know how it will affect you, and that is not allways easy....

gaba or ghb was developed as an anti-depressant, something you might want to investigate, I have consumed it in the past .. it is a molecule that exists in the body already and it's pretty safe provided it isn't combined with alcohol

okay, tell me ( someone) which other strains have that `uplifting and motivationalīhigh? Even if it means a tall plant, Iīll just have see how I deal with the size I guess.Maybe there a way of keeping a sativa shorter than normal.
Since I already ordered it Iīll have to try and sell the stuff or make seeds and sell those to get my money back in. I really cannot afford to loose money. Still look forward to trying LR out tho. Maybe itīs good for other things if not depression.

cuddles I said LR because of the smell and hieght. but I would listen to TC and GS they have tried every stran in the book. And if you went with the thai you could sale some to make your money back, because every body wants thai. When I smoke I never drink anything sweet because it taste so good ,and it gets addictive,And I love sweet Tea.I noticed when I drank sweet TEA I got the munchies worse it seems like the sugar starts the avalanche effect.hope I helped!

lol guys, I did consider thai and I even thought about godd old skunk 1 or orange bud, Iīve always like them.
I think I got about too excited about the super quick growing time and Iīve never had an autoflower. I think Iīll just grow some out, check out what the smoke is like - one bud will do and use the other plants to make seeds - which Iīve always wanted to but then I had to stop growing- until now :)
What thai do you guys think I should try out then? It also needs to be easy to buy because not all places stock everything.
I ordered my lowryder from this place btw:
http://www.samenwahl.com/
itīs in several languages incl. english
Iīm tempted to try the bubbleberry again -for the size and smoke, I had that once ( from c-bay) but I kept getting males which was frustrating when you only got room for one plant! AND itīs like impossible to clone!
Iīm less bothered about the size noe though, especially if itīs an easy to clone plant- I can turn one tall plant into say 2 shorter ones thatīll do fine for me.
Difficult as far as selling stuff goes tho coz I hardly know anyone where I live now. When I was still in England I could have gotten rich selling!!
TC and GS they have tried every stran in the book
I havenīt ! Sometimes you donīt even know what the hell youīre given for smoke, like at parties because the people selling and smoking donīt know themselves. sad huh?
Look forward to more detailed strain suggestions.
thx for the link c-ray, I guess I gotta find myself a drug dealer who sells me a date rape drug, great. Or Iīll just (finally)see a doctor like I intended too. ;)
I think itīs illegal in my country but Iīll find out in time.

what about the other autoflower strains or early bloomers like early girl, that ones got sativa at least.
what lattitude are you on? so the plan is to grow on the balcony??
Cuddles

idealy the balcony, yes. at least for the time being, summer time. by the window inside os okay too. Itīs a huge window facing southwest, just like the balcony. Iīm thinking bout building a grow closet for the winter time.
Iīm in the north, europe.

indica strains such as LUI, Godbud Mikado and such are good painkillers but can tend to be too heavy and may actually cause depression in some folks-
sativa strains like Arjans ultra Haze 1 or 2, lionheart, amnesia haze etc work very well to alleviate depression in many users however they do little to alleviate pain the hazes can make the user much more aware of sciatica or other nerve type pain so, if one wants to alleviate both pain and depression and assuming they are not the cause of each other ( pain=depression because of too much pain etc) an indica/sativa
hybrid is worth trying inca spirit, super silver haze warlock might take some experimenting to find the bud for what ails you but it will be fun looking

Thanks a lot BK. I didnīt know about haze doing that at all. This type of info is something I can work with. Iīll check out those last strains you mentioned. Having thought about all that Iīm tending towards Bubbleberry which is a nice mix, or some strains that have always had a little giggle effect on me. weīll see, I havenīt decided yet.
