It's maybe TOO simple for you.

Take 6" cuttings. Put them in a ziplock bag, then put the bag in the veggie crisper. The cuttings will last at least a couple weeks, sooner or later they turn to slime...at which point it's obvious that you cannot use them.

i've kept mine in the crisper for a month and they rooted great. the trick seems to be to keep the humidity 'right'. any water standing on the leaves will cause rot, too little and they dry out.

you can open the bag once a wk or so and spray a ((little)) water in there, or you can keep a wadded-up moist paper towel at the bottom. also, i used one gal ziplocks and just put whatever size branch would fit.

I'm doing an experiment on the subject right now. I completely forgot about them until now. They've been in a ziploc baggy in the crisper for 3 months now, and they don't look any worse for wear! No water added! Once they form a callous, they should last quite a while. I really didn't think they would last this long. I'm testing how long they will remain viable.

Ive always had them go slimey when left over for a long time, maybe 6-7 weeks. You can help extend their life by opening the bag once a week and exchanging the air/breathing in the bag.

Actually on a shitty ass side note: I recently had gotten busted with these materials we speak of, very old moldy, rotten cuttings found in my fridge. Happened right after OG went down but I didnt come back and talk about it cause that would have only made it worse over at ic. Good thing though the cops didnt find ANYTHING else in the house besides these cuts, no pipe, scale, buds, nothing...hopefully my lawyer can work with that because they charged me sjfelony 4oz-5lb. lol. So dont keep wasted cuts around too long. peace, stay safe.

Bummer inline! Who'd a thunk? After some thought. The cuts I referred to previously have been in the fresher since January. I never would have thought that they would last this long. They still look incredibly fresh. I don't know how they've lasted so long. I know I've never opened them. Maybe it has something to do with the color of the ziploc that was used. They are the blue heavy duty freezer ziploc bags by glad. No moisture has ever been added. Maybe it's just that Pacific's G-13 becomes zombified somehow????? PM me if anyone wants to try them.

Yea in all actuallity it was kind of funny, they came to bust me on a supposed tip that there was herb growing inside, I know exactly who narked they actually admitted it, but when they came they found next to nothing. Its fucked because they charged 3 different ppl witht the same felony possesion, none of whom owned the house or was on any type of lease or bill period, and now all they have as evidence is those fucked up ass moldy ass cuts that weighed no where near 4 oz, lawyer should have a field day with it. They havent even filed a court date because they know they look like fools and are fucked, and they are now approaching 90 days in which my case will be dismissed if they dont file soon, knock on wood. Wish us luck, peace and watch your 6. peace
