How To Print Long Threads

Step #1

click on Quick Links on the top menu....then click on Edit Options in the drop down menu

Step #2

click the drop-down menu for Number of Posts to Show Per Page

then select Show 1000 Posts Per Page

* you might want to select Show 300 Posts Per Page or Show 100 Posts Per Page if you have slow internet

Step #3

open the thread you want to print and click on Thread Tools then click on Show Printable View

then a page will open with up to 1000 posts, which will make it easy to print them all at once

Step #4

go back to your Edit Options page and change the number of posts to show back to the forum default...otherwise it will take a long time to open long pages

*Tip for advanced users*

before doing step #1, open the long thread you would like to print in a new window or a new tab, and open the edit options in another window or tab

it'll save you the time it takes to open the whole long thread in regular view, before you switch it to printable view

this technique is also useful if you would like to save a long thread for future reference...instead of printing the page out, save it instead
