So much success with my water farm makes me wonder why I'm getting issues with.... basil...But I new where to turn :D. This is kinda embarrassing..so don't poke fun at me! :o I have in my water farm.transplanted it about 5-6 days ago got it under a spare 600watt hps, giving it 5 or less ML earth juice in 2 gallons PH right around 6.

But I seem to be getting theses weird dry spots and holes in my leaves, pests? almost looks like nute burn but that couldn't be with the how little nutes I'm giving it.

any advice you all can share would be groovy, also if anyone is into hydro gardening for vegetables and what not, id love to chat.

also feel free to move me C-ray :P but I figured it didn't belong in the plant clinic

i was about to say neem oil but since I am also a qualified chef, the thought of something as acrid on my Basil as neem makes me go look up some other idea......

basil is more delicate than cannabis

How about a home made hot pepper and garlic spray? Not sure if it would work, just throwing an idea out.

i think that the leaves are too tender to take that mix kali, but that is the right path for sure.

the best way to get rid of them is to cut everything down and spray everything down with 5% bleach solution, look at your house plants if you have any too

Ok well I cut everything way back. Got rid of anything that looked like it even might have a problem. I do have chili/garlic oil, I also have several other house plants and none seems to have the problem. This extra 600 is sitting in my closet however.

Thanks for everything so far, I'm always open to other idea's.

when you say cut everything down, do you mean as in get rid of the plants? should I get rid of all the leaves just leave stem?
