Hey all,

just wanted to point you in the direction of an aquaponic forum. Lots of good peeps there. I know a few of you here may be interested in the concept. I first heard about aquaponics in a writeup by Breeder Steve and was instantly hooked.

For those of you who are not familiar with the concept, put short, you grow fish in your res and use the nutrients provided by the fish manure to feed the plants. It is so much more then thats though if you care to read through some posts you will learn.

Anyway heres the site.

See what you reckon. Its the future.

I must confess I did not follow the first link but I remember the backyardaquaponics part since it is the best source of aquaponics info that I have seen, actually I was going to post the link a couple days earlier I guess someone was reading my mind, no really
guppyponics is what steve was promoting back in the late 90s
didn't work too well with aeroponics though, but they had a prototype where the plants would sit in a flow tray above the tank and drip back down to the tank through pipes with little holes punched in them, supposedly simulating rain lol
real k.i.s.s. kinda setup, I think maybe even lucas would approve
the question though is what to feed the fish

*bram when are you going to get on board with this?
