Ok ,so my friend asked me how you make pressed hash the other day while I was sitting with him. I figured he can't be the only one wanting such info and here I am making a thread about it.
First up we'll use some summer resins.

Good powder should press with little heat and pressure. If you can't hand press it its probably not very good powder. So lets go over the hand press process. First we place the amount of powder in our palm that we want to press.

Next I place my free thumb over the powder and close my palm around the powder let it warm for about a minute. As you can see the powder not only adheres to itself but my thumb as well.

so after about a minute of manipulation{squeeze with palm and press with thumb} the powder has formed a ball. This pic might suck. Hope it works.

From here its just a matter of continued manipulation. I will keep at it for a bit and post a pic when It looks the way you'd expect.

Quality hash will bubble and melt when a flame is applied, before catching fire. The quicker it catched fire the better chance there is more fibre to burn.
Thanks for looking. Peace GS

Now that that piece is at room temp it will snap apart when I try open it. Good hash doesn't stay soft at room temp. Unless your on the equator or some shit. At room temp good hash is hard as rock and if you threw it at the gound it would shatter into slivers. Peace GS

Well done GS....a great avoidance of your fingerprints...LOL
Great shots.
I like to use a 12 ton car jack in a rebar metal press that is heated
Takes too long to do it all by hand and we like puffin the powder better.
what does that mean if your hash stays soft at room temp? my bubble is soft but then again it was made with fresh trim.

Its not quite dry. Fresh trim is THE way to go. When you make bubble you should take the fresh powder and lightly press the water out. Then take the hash and chop it to powder on cardboard. Leave it too dry at least 24 hours in a warm dry place. That usually work. I know others that take the lightly pressed hash{To remove some water of course}and freeze it for 24 hours. Then they put it in a coffee grinder and grind to powder. The powder is then layed out on cardboard again for 24 hours. TC is right, powdered hash is the schiznit. Good Luck. Peace GS
