I was wondering if someone could tell me what to expect for yields when it comes harvest time. Maybe an average yield for a strain that produces high yields. Let's just say an average setup as well. If anyone can tell me some high yielding strains they have used and harvested, and how much they harvested on average from each plant. When I grow, I'll probably just start by trying to grow maybe four or five plants. Just curious on how much smoke to expect from a single plant. Thanks!

There are lots of variables Stevus. For instance strain, watts of light, amount of veg time, container size, nute schedule, etc. however I can tell you indoors under say a 400w you could grow up to 4 nice sized plants in 5 gal containers that were given adequate veg time to reach alternate branching one could reasonably expect 3 oz of primo bud per plant. A lot of folks do better, alot more do not.

LEO would estimate somewhere between 15 to 20 lbs. However, MY has hit a fairly good approx. value for us that live in the real world.

From what I understand, Big Bud is a relatively easy plant to grow, with above average yields. What are some good strains matching the following criteria, in order of importance:
1. Easy to grow, least finicky
2. Yield
3. Shortest grow time
4. THC content

It all depends on your level of proficiency and type of ferts.

I find the Herijuanas from meduser of good quality and super easy growability.

THC level of 24%, pretty impressive. Anyone else have any suggestions? Captain, I've never grown before, but money for supplies isn't really a concern. Any other strains you know of Capt?

Personal tastes and restrictions are always a major player in one's decisions. What may be a keeper to me, may be a waste of time for you. Check out the strainguide and read the descriptions.

And skip the Big Bud, it's crap.

I'd say usually one could expect 0.5 to 1 ounce per plant. Pro's do better. The responses above are all given by knowlegable folks who have a fair amount of experience. You'll be setting off on a rewarding journey. Mistakes in security can be ominous.

Stevus ...

Using a 600 watt light, vegging to 12", flowering the right strains to between 2-3 feet tall, depending upon time of year (temps, humidity, etc.) I can consistantly get one big ounce on the average per plant. Most of Dman's strains yield great, as do Joey Weed's AK-99 crosses. You won't go wrong with either of these guys.

Hmm ... I see Dman is still around, is Joey?

If youre a newb try and shoot for half a gram per watt of light, shouldnt be to hard as long as you have a solid understanding of the basics. Or a good minimum for a lot of folks is a half lb per 400w and 1.5 lbs per 1000w. All the answers you need are here just ask, good luck, peace.
