(2)6 gal. pail, (1)pail lid, net fabric ,hand drill and metal rod,ICE ICE ICE,
Cut the middle of the lid out and fixed the fabric to it.
Filled the pail with ice and water then mix in the trim with the drill.
After 30 seconds or longer (less mix time better Bubble)put the lid on and dump water in the ready pail (#2).Fill pail #1 with two more gallons of water (NO MIXING THIS TIME)and dump that in pail #2 .Let pail #2 sit for about a hour, let all trichomes fall to bottom then start siphoning water out very slowly. When the water is low enough dump the mix of water and trichomes in a pyrex bowl and let trichomes fall again. Now just put over a LITTLE heat and it will all come together. When the trichomes heat up they will bond together. Now It will be easy to remove trichomes from the rest of the water.
BUT HERES A PROBLEM. The Bubble is way to sticky. No matter how long it drys, it always stays like tar. Can anyone HELP??? Could it be the heat used to bond the trichomes when they are still wet causing the problem??
In the end all is good. Everthing is cheap and easy to put together. This way of make bubble is better then just throwing the trim away. Right?

try freezing the chunk and then grinding it into a fine powder and spreading that out to dry. your probably trapping water in the hash when you heat it together in the water.

Dude, The ball is now just a two and a half oz. black rock. I cant even crack it.It was only in the freezer for 20mins. man wtf happend. I am not sure but I dont think it can be any dryer. This is the 4th time makeing it this way, I used the same strain every time. Maybe it is just a very oily bubble batch??? (like the other batches) It is about like playdoe but stickyer to touch.

I tried a method much like this a while back in the snowbank. I did not rinse as much as the video, and screened it through a coffee filter at the end and pressed it from there. The trim was of four different strains but the hash came out one grade. The least enjoyable part is the cellulose as i over smashed the trim. When i grow up i wanna buy bubble bags:kind: ;)

Its been a while!!!

Ok so just my 2 cents but buy the bags. Yeah they are a little expensive, but so what. Its effortless. Set the bags...dump in ice and stock....mix....and strain. I mean what could be simpler? My spin on this, is once the stock is removed from the work bag. Let its dry out, then give it a quick rinse with 99% ISO and strain through some coffee filters. Once you got some ISoil, and your bubble dryed. Mix them up. The ISO acts like a binding agent. I suggest using it only on the lesser quality hash. Leave the last bag alone.

I agree, bags are better, but some people just can't afford them. The gravity bucket system works okay, but the hash isn't quite as clean or pure. It's still pretty good stuff though.

When I've done this I used two 5-gal buckets. The first one is for mixing trim/ice/water. In the second one I used a 5-gallon paint strainer bag (available at Home Depot, they have an elastic top to stretch around the pail - about $3). When done mixing, pour the contents into the second pail, rinse with some fresh water, and pull the pain strainer up, squeeze the water out, and continue on like in the video. The mesh is fine enough to get all but the finest bits of leaf, dust, etc. When beginning siphoning, it's a good idea to try to skim the surface with the siphon tube to remove most of the floating particulate (or you can carefully pour off the top layer of water).

Peace,
Bud
