a few pictures of the first lily to flower in my garden (got a few hundred different ones thats gonna flower over the next 2 month).
I recieved this one as a gift from latvia and i realy like the burned terracota like colour, but its only 20cm high this year and the flowers are downfacing so was a bit hard to get a good photo, but next year its gonna be higher.

caddis, yes i had to organize them in rows to get room for them all
and cannarchist you are right, they do lack magnesium but its too hot atm to spray them with epson salt, should come some colder days later this week, but fortunatly its only the leaves that gets affected by nute deffiences, the flowers are always just as pretty

c-ray, there are so many different types of lilies (lilium spp) some grow in bogs others in vulcanic ashes and some on limestone, some like it hot some cold, so there will always be someone suiting your growing conditions and some who dont, one thing they got in comon is the need for a well drained airy soil (even the swamp ones)

some more lilies, unfortunatly we had a heavy hail storm and it destroyed most of them  and the remaining are far from their potential

next is Sinfonia, this one is similair to the above, but not as sturdy and in cooler weather it got a rosy band at the edge of the petals
