Allright guys,

Im at 60N been digging holes for weeks now and all plants are going out the next couple of weeks.

Each plant get 30-40 liters of soil.

bonemeal
bloodmeal
worm castings
vermiculite
perlite
leca
phirana
frozen bacterials
dolemite lime

the soil goes into plastic bags that have some holes coming out of the button...

I am trying to "root restrict" them by stopping the roots growing horisontally.

check here: https://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/showthread.php?t=584&highlight=root+restriction

Every three weeks I will be giving them some nutes(if they need)

I dug the holes near water so I hope this will help them a little...

Corn 1,2,3
MMSS x Timewarp
MMSS pb
Early Bramble F4
Trip x EG
Boreal Genetics Outdoor mix
Mighty Freeze
Guerilla Gold #2
Mogwa

All up and sprouting between 3-20 centimeters

Also got a big sack of human hair from the hair dressers that I will spread around the area. Theres a lot of animal tracks and shit lying around so its best to be prevantive. Found some nasty handsope too I will grind up and spread also. This trick have worked before.

Big thanks to Vapor, TC and Greens for hooking me up with early strains

normally around middle of october, it have come earlier than this but not often. Now with global warming anything is possible hihi.

BG mix is a freebie from the makers of Mighty Freeze. Some Mighty crosses and diversa.

Mogwa is some old danish(30years old) tragedy that I will just test for fun. It have given us some smoke before but nothing to hip hurray for. Will try to make some seeds to preserve it. Local history

Im testing GG#2 , Auto Timewarp, Auto Timewarp x GG#2 (courtesy of greens) and also some seedmix that I picked up from this old guy named Finn I smoked with during the Roger Waters concert at Roskilde 06 in Denmark :) ...some old inbreed danish skunk line he told me...will be quite interesting

Good luck albi, tough conditions but tough plants can handle them :)

The only one you will have to look out for is that Trip x EG,The Trip pheno will go to the End Oct at 50N.....Well,it was made in California! Lets hope that the awesome mold resistance in the EG transfers.I did get some pretty vile Botrytis in the Trip phenos right at the end but the nugs were so dense it was not surprising really. If you see any botrytis ,just cull the whole plant and process into hash.......because its all about the hash in those babys!:woohoo:

Sounds good, Albi!

You have quite a nice selection of strains to test out at that lattitude. At your location, the root restriction is probably a very good idea. Good luck man!

Yeah Boreal Genetics are seeds made by Jaysprout. He uses his killer Freezeland in many crosses to make potent, hardy, and early outdoor strains. Also, he made a few nice mighty mite crosses like Mighty Durban and Mighty Freeze. The mix would be a mix of these freezeland and MM crosses. I'm growing the mighty freeze and mighty durban this year and I also loved his AK99 x Freeze in the past.

have to go now and then to make sure they dont dry out

or what do you say puffs?? how are yours doing?

Albi, yeah....its been tropical around here for two weeks....turning this week though with more normal temps 16-18celsius....we've had like 30 for two weeks straight now...really fun when your plants are to far from a watersource....

they are doing just dandy, I cut some male plants that already had massive clusters of balls and they have only been alive since may 15'th....I guess its the mighty mite pheno....hoping they will bush out some more though, but this could also be due to my style of growing

anyone had any luck with lst'ing Guerilla Gold #2 or Auto Timewarp x gg#2? They seem like more straightforward cola plants to me than bushes

So, lets compare some photos soon Albi, how tall are your plants now and do you see a wide array of phenos as well? I Sure do :)

Yeah,Puffs, the GG follows the cola dominant Afgan side of the cross, whilst the early Bramble followed the Early gold pheno which is a bush.LST is the way to go on the GG.

^^^^^^

Ok, I tried dig down half full beer bottles near one site. it seems to work...all the slugs go into the bottle instead on plantys.

Also tried neem oil. Have to wait next couple days to see the effect....

btw;
All Corn 3 plants are eaten by deer/elk

seems like they like to eat only the corns... 1 and 2 is still allive tho looking good

The #3 Corn was the latest flowering of that strain,1&2 come in earlier so at least the deer ate the version that might not have finished for you up there Albi

Neem oil seems to be working.....

I sprayed all plants yesterday so no more slug problemos

And the Elk (I found tracks) have taken another Corn plant........strange.....as they are not seedlings any more

3 of the plants had sign of nute def will give them a dose in a few days

I can also mention that it have been a terrible summer so far. The last month it has allmost rained every day!!!

But Im optimistic

Will get up some random shots soon

Yeah!!

everything is exploding now!!

The boys have started doing their things so a lot of smelling and rubbing the stems.....

Theres one that looks completely different from the others in the Corn patch, I dont know if its some of my mixup or what it is, but it looks spectaclularrrrrrrrr and the smell is heavenly. I ran back and forth to see if it matched up with the others....hmmmm. Its the one to the left..........

The mighty freeze is the most vigour plants, I have one interesting bushy boy with early resin.

Two of the Guerilla Golds are smashed by elk sleeping on them. They are alive, that whats important.

what I thought was nute def earlier was just the rain

Looking good mon. I like the #2. Found it added resin production in my cross to the Highland mango, good outskies breeder imo. Enjoy.
