the 10 Commandments for bubble making

1. Thou shalt make their bubble with love. Thou shalt not beat the shit out of the material. Thou shalt not use a food processor, blender or other cutting machines.
2. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's bubble bags.
3. Thou shalt use fresh material whenever possible and thou shalt freeze the material for at least a half hour before mixing.
4. Thou shalt use as many bags as possible and thou shalt not mix any or all of the grades together.
5. Thou shalt dry the hash properly. Thy hash should be laid out to dry immediately after it is pulled from the bags. Thou shalt not handle the bubble more than necessary before it is dry. Thou shalt not press the bubble until it is completely dry. Thou shalt store thy bubble in a cool, dry place.
6. Thou shalt not mix bubble with BHO or other solvent based extracts.
7. Thou shalt properly clean and maintain thy bags.
8. Thou shalt not use sulphurated or other unacceptable and unclean material to make bubs, especially not in buddy's bags. (see 2nd commandment)
9. Thou shalt use lots of ice. If snow is available thou shalt use it instead of ice.
10. Thou shalt share the 73u bubble with super cool friends.

Bubble is a term coined by Bubbleman to describe water extracted hash. Even Mila uses it to describe the finished product from Isolater bags.Therefore dry sieve is not bubble.

Since it looks like there are a few bubble makers here....may I pose a question?

My bubble is super goooey. It wasn't too bad after I dried it...but then I froze some cause I had way too much. Now that I have thawed it...it seems to stick to everything. Even the wax paper has to be scraped...and it doesn't all come off. Should I just let it air dry for awhile...or did I do something wrong?

yea mon, after you have the hash in the bottom of your bag take it out lightly press out the excess water{pressing screen} put it on cardboard and chop up fine with razors let dry and bammmmmmm

Should dry your bubble as powder. Chop it to powder when its wet. More surface area dries quicker. Most peoples bubble only melts cuz there is too much water in it. Peace GS

What kind of consistancy will it have if I let it dry to a powder and then press? Will I just add a drop of water or olive oil to the press, or just heat it up abit?

question about 'fresh material, are you saying wet and green? I know it works when frozen but still, not dried material?

Thou shalt never loan thy bags out of your sight. Show your friends where to buy theirs for a good price. I emphasized many times, clean the bags and dry them before returning them and numbnuts gave me back some wet bags that were starting to smell bad.

Also, using a mixture of dry ice and regular ice will produce the finest bubble in the land - it is sticky and gooey like previously mentioned, swirled like a latte and is the finest bubblehash to be had.

I find that it's nice to have a pressed piece for carrying around. I hate dealing with powder and even weed when I'm out and about. I would rather just grab a piece and drop it in the pipe.

In my opinion, using fresh or dry product is optional. Indeed, using the fresh frozen material seems to produce the most melty hash. However, I am almost certain that bubble made from dry and cured material is more potent (at least it is immediately after making). Trust me, you can still get the FMCD using fully dried and cured product no problem.

I have puffed dynamite bubble with Bubbleman from both Juicy Fruit and B.C. Hashplant. Personally if the material is dry I dry sieve, if its wet I water extract. Much harder to get FMCD from dried material, not sayin it can't be done, just most strains don't make FMCD from wet material let alone dry. Peace GS

Yeah, I've made plenty of full melt from BC hashplant. It gets you high, but really it's nothing compared to the dank full melt made with potent strains. There just on different levels IMO.

Questions for the bubble pros out there......

1) How should you properly clean your bags? I bought some payload bags from globalgrow off ebay (cheaper then their site) and found i lost a lot in the seams. even when totally dry was hard to get it all out (my 25u bag is really gunked up). Btw i only used water to clean them, thought about iso but didnt want to wreck the bags.

2) I also lost some to the pressing screen which got just as gunked up as the 25u bag. wtf is that about?

this was my first time using these bags, I have made bubs with a friend when i was living in BC and I remember it being a lot less troublesome. Do these bags suck? or is it just the strain im using (indoor powerplant) (used some durban x mightymite outdoors out west)

Appreciate all the help I can get as this was a very sticky mess.

I ran a batch of dry material thru 4 bubble bags, a 220, a 120, a 73, and a 25, using an exhaust fan to pull dry sieve thru..

I then put the 73micron dry sieve powder back thru the bags wet.

only 20% of the dry sieve, came thru to the 73micron screen wet

that is to say, wet sieve 73micron is FAR superior to dry sieve 73 micron, because 80% of what is in the 73 dry sieve stays above the 120 and 220 screens when wetted..

smoke tests confirm the 73wet is of MUCH higher quality than the 73dry

For superior quality use stainless steel milking pails so that you are not ingesting estrogen from plastic buckets with your fine cold water extract. (unless of course you wish to grow tits)

Ya Bubblebox is made for rolling joints over so that the stray head do not escape. Down they go into the screen. Eventually you have some nice powder. Peace GS

I've got the Bubblebox and I love it. I save up all the leftover crumbs from rolling joints all week then use a plastic card, like a credit card, to work the crumbs over the top screen a bit. The crumbs are then collected and put in the freezer to be used later for BHO and I always have a treat of killer dry sift every week.

I take it the 8 bagger works better than the 3 bagger, the more screens the better the hash. wow ive been throwing all my leftovers away, damt. time to get some bubble bags. so the colder the water the more seperation you have with the crystals coming off the sugar leaves, is that why the use dry ice, and why does the snow make a better hash, is it because its finner ICE, would it be better to have bags of crushed ice instead of the big cubes? man a paddle bit would work killer for the mixing, I guess the trick is to not touch the bottom of the screen, so you dont tare them. hell yes. it {seems }pretty easy. looks like I will be giving bubbleman hide out a little visit,man he has some nice peaces, I hope there not all gone, at least I will get the bubble box and his bags.

Ding, ding, ding, ding!! Give the man a cigar ( a blunt would be better but I digress). :D Your right on all counts. The finer the ice crystals the better of a job it will do scraping the trichomes off the plant material. The colder the material the more brittle the trichome stalks become which allows them to snap off easier so less mixing is required and therefore less plant matter gets through the screens to contaminate your hash. The eight bag set makes it much easier to find and separate the full melt grade of hash (which you keep as your own personal head stash) from the other less primo grades. I hear you on the wasting your trash, I did it for years throwing it all out. :cry:
