whats best for me??

hi all, right i am using 3ft nft tanks and have been using rock wool cubes,but a friend tells me better to use pots sitting in tank with soil and perlite i dont know whats best ive been using canna aqua as nutrients but seen some of your photos and i have nothing that good :cry: has any 1 got any advice on whats best to use in nft tanks? thanks for help

You could convert to ebb and flow if you block your out take.Then use mesh pots with lava rock in them(still use a RW cube to start,then pop in pot once roots are going).Flood the NFT trays until near the top then let flood away.You just need lava rock and some net pots and your ready.

Read all you can in the Lucas thread about Ebb and flow.
