So I am looking for the ultimate cherry and vine tomato varieties... Anyone have any suggestions? I'm picking up some "Juliet" via. West Coast Seeds. Its a super sweet, crack resistant "cherry" variety and a pale yellow variety known as Yellow Pear. But I've yet to choose a vine variety... They'd be in planters on a patio btw.
So c'mon, where's the tomato love at?

Cheers,
Bod

I eat them as fast as they ripen. Nothing beats a big baguette topped with sweet tomatoes, fresh basil, and chunks of mozza drizzled with olive oil then tossed under the broiler! That is if the little guys make it that far:)...

Tomatoes yeah!! They are coming off way faster then we can eat them, i give them away but peeps are amazed at beautiful produce this time of the year and invariably ask too many questions:) Currently indoors I'm growing Golden Queen, Sweet Cherry, Roma, Christmas Grape, and Bush Beefsteak. The Sweet Cherry and Christmas Grape being the mini toms, and the golden queen not much bigger, and they are all indeterminate. The beefsteak and Roma are determinate. The tiny toms are my favorite to grow by far, i find them smaller plants, better organized, and able to hold more fruit. The Christmas Grape is my favorite, wonderful stature, even maturity, heavy crop for size of plant, many clusters of toms. They give me way more toms then the others for sure. One thing for sure, organic vine ripened tomatoes are so sweet you can't believe it, one of the best quick gardening snacks on the vine;)

I have a Siberian heirloom variety called Galina. Flavor is its selling point, resistant to cold, early and indeterminate.
