that probably hits great, but glass is so much better! All my friends and I have small glass pipes, that have a bubble at one end with a whole in the top. Looks like a crack stem someone blew a bubble in. Just clear glass. So you take the concentrate and put it in the bubble, and then heat the glass accordingly. Works great and no ill effects from the aluminum and metals in the spoon. Give it a whirl! Peace!

I still like rolling out what we call a "Hash Snake", and putting it in the middle of a joint. Just take a boogar sized peice of bubble and let it sit in your hand for a few minutes to warm up. Then roll the warmed bubble between your palms, and make a "hash Snake". It's easiest to roll a perfect snake joint with a zig-zag cigarrette roller. That's not saying you can't perfect a hand rolled snake joint though. But Clubs are pretty hard to work with without a roller IMHO. And they are without a doubt the best papers you can get. Put half of your herb into the roller, place the snake directly in the middle, and put the rest of your herb on top. Be sure to use only Club rolling papers for best flavor. You'll probably need to cut the corners of the Club papers so they fit into the Zig-Zag roller. But that jib will burn for eternity, and nothing gets wasted if you have at least 3 people to join you. Preferably more! To keep it from running, you've just got to continually rotate it a bit when you pass it. If it does run, just wet the spot where it's running, and keep the running part facing down when you hit it. But since you've placed the snake right in the middle of the doober, you'd be surprised how many will burn perfectly. Annihillating all partakers to the point of having Alzheimer's, and bouts of hillarity! It works good with blunts too. Of course you should have a blunt roller to do it perfectly. Plus with a blunt wrap, you can heat up your vial of BHO, and spread that on it. Let it dry for a few days, then use as directed above. You will be stoned immaculate!
But I do like your idea GS! I may have to try that sometime soon. Getting there is half the fun eh?:cool2:

I got turned on to using a clay extruder as a hash press to press my bubble and dry sift resins

I find that the act of pressing produces a hash that burns much better than dry sift or bubble hash that has not been pressed. The smoke is smoother.

I like to enjoy pieces of the pressed hash in a clean glass pipe or out of my glass bubbler.

I'm old school sorta too so I like burning hash outta an old style brass pipe every now and again.

73 micron Bubblehash made with the Bubblenow and run through Bubble Bags. Assorted trim. Now remember kids when you make bubble have everything you need before you start. Cuz if you for get something like the pressing screen for instance this becomes a very sticky process. LOL. This hash is very melty but no clear dome.

Ok so some of you may have encountered this before through me. Some may not have seen it at all, so I thought I'd share. So these pics are of my finger bowl. After trimming when I have gotten the majority of the fingerhash off I dip my fingers in the alcohol finger bowl. The bowl is filled with Iso not rubbing alcohol. It cleans the resin off my fingers. After many uses it looks like in the pics.
This gungy plate is then refilled with alcohol and all the muck on the bottom is stirred around till its all absorbed by the Iso. This sludge is run through coffee filters. The remaining material is evaporated . Once evaporated I run the plate under cold water, trying to rinse off some of the 1% left by the alcohol after evaporation. The plate is evaporated again till dry. Whats left on the plate is what my friend calls fingerhash oil. Very tasty and somewhat potent.
Now be careful I only evaporate at room temp so I have never been burnt or blown up. Peace GS

Ok today I'm gonna do a demo on making bubble. This will not be the typical demo. I will be using the lowest quality trim I have. Fist I should explain my trim quality control.

When I trim, I trim over a plastic garbage bag laid out on the floor below my trim area. This is for the fans leaves. Then a plastic bowl sits on the plastic bag. The bowl is where all the sugar trim falls. The stuff in the bowl is the primo trim and is processed seperate from the fans. This makes for less green matter in your hash.

So as stated above I will be using the poorest trim in order to show you even it contains hash that many just toss out.

-Pic 1 is of the plastic bag and the type of material being used.
-Pic 2 is the Bubblenow.
-Pic 3 is the Bubblenow and the cylinder bag that goes on the inside of the machine.
-Pic 4 is the Bubblenow and the material to be used. For this size unit 1/2 lb bag full of material is good.

Next I add the trim and a 5 lb. bag of ice to the cylinder bag. Then another 5lb. bag of ice distributed inside the machine, but outside of the bag. Water is added till it reaches the high mark on the front of the unit. The unit is closed up and I will set the timer to 10 minutes{some like more, some like less}.At this point a joint can be prepared and puffed, while Bubblenow does the mixing.

Ok so being a stoner and the Sweet Skunk joint kicking my brain I forgot to take pics of the hash in the bags all the way to the 45 bag. Coincidentally my last bag.

By this point I have pulled the 190 and 160 bags. These are both cleaning bags. I do keep the material, but not near the hash.

The 120, 73 and 45 bags are all cleaned in the bag then scraped up and put on the pressing screen. The screen is folded over and light pressure is applied to remove a lot of the water.

Last pic is the hash on cardboard. I have taken a razor blade and chopped it to powder. It will dry on the cardboard for at least 18 hrs. It will be placed in a warm dry spot. We'll see how long it takes. I will be back tomorrow with the numbers.

Other things to note. Bag maintenance is important. I washed each bag as it was finished. They were well rinsed inside and out with cold water. Never use warm water the hash will just melt to your bags. Then the bags are hung to thoroughly dry. This is important I once saw a set of bags that was stored wet, they were ruined by mold.

So now we talk a bit about the numbers. The Bubblebags cost me $300 in 2000, so they pretty much paid for themselves a few years back. The Bubblenow costs about $235, but the one I used was borrowed from a friend. Material was just some junk I had around the house. So really other than my time this hash only really cost me $5.69 for 2 bags of ice.

Here's a pic of the mostly dry hash. I will let it dry for a few more hours then come back to let you know whats there. Peace GS

So I got .2 g of 120 micron, .6 g of 73 micron and 1.2 g of 45 Micron. I imagine the 25 micron would have been great too as the material was all sativa and there was so much 45 ,but that bag is gone.

The pic is the 1.2 g of 45. I applied a lighter very quickly to the powder and it began to melt. That's the spot thats darker. Thanks for watching. Peace GS

OK so I made some bubble with the Bubblenow today. Tried something a little different than usual. You see I usually don't use the mixing bag and the Bubblenow together. This time I did. Was very surprised at how much stuff it caught. Now here's my theory how ever weak. If the mixing bag helps keep the cleaning bags clean then they can work more efficiently.

Anyways heres the bags as they were pulled. 190, 160,120,73 and 45. Lost my 25 bag long ago. Makes me sad when I grow the sativas. Oh well. Peace GS

Well to some degree this experiment comes to an end with little results. I cleared the cardboard of the 73 and as I was workin with it I knocked the cardboard off the table and onto the dog blanket. Life is funny yet not. I recovered .6g off the blanket with only a few hairs. .4g of 120 was still on cardboard as was .6g of 45. I got over 4 grams of 73 and it looks like this. Peace GS

In the late 90's a friend and I started a business making hash for growers from their trim. At the time Iceolators bags were around but we made dry sieve hash. We had an American friend that was living in our town blowing glass. He made us this little baby. We call her the Pan. It goes on the stove and when heated you just dump the hash in and draw the smoke through the glass tube. It had a small learning curve, but once figured WHOAH baby. Anywho just thought I'd show yas something a little different. Peace GS

So today I through a bunch of indica trim into the Bubblenow. I got the best return I recall getting ever and its nice and light colored . It goes right to left 120,73 and 45. I'll take more pics when its all chopped up. Peace GS

Well I never patted it dry at all just left it on pressing screen as in pic and the hash got all hard when I was takin pics. This made it hard to chop up but I did as best I could. I can tell this batch kicks ass already can't wait for it to dry. Peace GS

Ok this part of the thread will be a trash to stash thing. You see when I trim I have a plastic garbage bag on the floor to catch the fan leaves and a glass pan on the garbage bag to trim the sugar leaves into. The previous batch was the sugar trim. This batch will be the fans. The pic shows about 1/2 a garbage bage full of fans. Peace GS

ps. My batteries are dying on my camera and my methods will be the same as everyone else, so I will skip the technique and just show the material then the hash when I'm done.

Ok so here's how it went. I used a 1/2 lb ziplock of material. Now because this material was dry and mostly fans I only ran the Bubblenow for 6 minutes so as not to add too much contaminent. This really might not seem like much to some of you, but this was really bad material. Put this together with the fact I have about 8 times that amount of material and you like me might have a hard time tossing it. Once you have the tools paid for as I do the only real cost was ice{$5.69} a bit of power and my time. Well worth it in my eyes. I'm sure a lot of the green will come out of the 120 and 73. The 45 already looks outstanding.

Ok the pics are 24 hours later. Something to note, the 120 and 73 seem a little greener than I expected. On future runs I will mix for only 5 minutes.Weights were 120µ .2g,73µ .4g and 45µ was .7g . This will be my last post on the indica hash. The hash has been drying in my oven for almost 2 weeks now. The first pic is the hash as is. Second pic is after I chopped them up. You can make hash from any amount of trim. I have a Bubblebox which is a progression of screens, just like the Bubblebags, but you run the trim dry over the screens instead of with ice water like the bags. Anyway, I routinely will pull out a few grams of trim and run it over the screens for a sesh, but if doing Bubblebags it's best to do all of the trim at once otherwise it becomes a lot of work for little return.

Sounds like you have the makings of a grow there malocup. Everything you need to get started can be read about on these boards. As specific questions about your plants arise, answers can be found with the members here. I suggest to you to start reading and get as informed as possible, then come up with a plan on how you plan to garden whether it be hydro, soilless mix or whatever. Start small with one or two lights at first. Do your first grow with some bagseeds that you've found rather than use prime genetics that you paid or traded for, so that you can work the bugs out of you grow show before you put expensive genetics in there. That's all I can think of right now. Have fun learning about the herb.

Do your first grow with some bagseeds that you've found rather than use prime genetics that you paid or traded for, so that you can work the bugs out of you grow show before you put expensive genetics in there.

That's probably very good advice, generally speaking. My first indoor grow was done with donated bagseed back in about 1984 or so. It was 100% hermaphrodite. There was so much pollen in my basement it could have been declared a hazardous waste area. Of course, in those days it was still mostly Mexican brick weed, so that's likely where my seeds came from. Needless to say, there was a lot of disappointment from that crop, along with a lot of sneezing. But, I did learn a lot from that mess.
