I feel like a wine grape vine, searching in vain through gravelly social soil for the scattered pockets of spiritual nutrition... Forced to suffer for a time in order to produce a rare and otherwise unobtainable spiritual fruit.

But when everyone brings a jug of Rossi to the party, I'll be holding a magnum of champagne.
