Check out this leaf and petiole mutation on my female sour D x AWW plant, I just now saw it while chilling in the garden listening to alex jones.
This is one out of seven beautiful females flowering from seed, and is the one I really have my eye on as a great little indoor specimen. She is by far the bushiest and squattiest plant in the garden and the leaves indicate a nice cross of the two strains.
But what's going on here is right in the middle of the pictures, with the newest full set of leaf growth. You can see TWO full, seven-bladed leaves emerging from the same petiole which in fact looks more like a stem than a petiole. That was the first thing that caught my attention: I saw a leaf coming out of what looked like a fat little branch, not a leaf stalk. Then I saw two leaves emerging face to face.
Never heard of this one, never seen it before. I know freaks like this can sometimes have freakish potency too, and with the pedigree being top-notch I am very excited to see what happens with this plant.

No comments? this is pretty freaky as far as freaks go. . . There's one node that has 4 branches coming out of the same spot too.

ahh mutations...poo's herfuct? Under normal circumstances they don't prevail, but under stress/differential they abound. Genetic potential in wait, triggered by environmental signal...some of the most beautiful sights in the garden were the half albino leaves..or extreme purple hues..but relate it to human nature...and everyone just wants to be normal..LOLOL
stress is..a imbalance of something..are all freaks special??? aren't we all;)..lol

yeah must be something in the water . . . . my lemon thai clone has leaves that look like a sword with the hilt being one serrated point on either side sticking out.

I had a Lavender plant that did this. It had a really weird cola when it finished, looked like two towers growing out of one stem. It was decent though. Best I can do! Peace.
When I saw this thread,I thought hey then I can show my mutated Cinderella 99.Itīs so close as it possible can be after Souls work, but this one seed freaked.
It started growing normal, but then the 2 cotyledon leaves kept growing, and then stopped here, and didnt get any further.Straaaange plant..:suspicious:

interesting plant Nevi.
I would like to offer my personal opinion, take it for what its worth, just an IMO thingy, not meant to be disagreeable:)
From the top of the plant down: the top leaves appear to the first true set of leaves with serrated edges.
Over half way, but less then 2/3rds of the way down the stalk to the soil appear to be the dried up cotyledon leaves, looking rounded.
To me it appears as though this plant had sprouted fine, but something happened that stalled/or put the plant in stasis. The leaves look sorta ruffled, like id expect to see from a strong dose of nutes. Also on the sides of the pot there appears to be salt accumulation built up.
The media appears very wet.
My final observation is that the stalk above the media is a much smaller diameter then the stalk farther up the plant, what could be like a stem damping off thing.
To me i see a plant with a good start that got really wet feet.
There appears to be another set of leaves coming in so hopefully she takes off.
Or i could be wrong and shes a weird freaky mutant:taz:

As of tomorrow, I have yet to see an actual mutation photographed and posted on any cannabis bulletin board.
