8 parts Promix HP,8 parts peat moss, 8 parts perlite, 3 parts worm poop, and 2 styrofoam cups of lime. Wetted with water with Super Thrive[About 5 gallons]. This is the usual for me. Peace GS

Coco peat / coir

Cheap,nice balance of water retention,good air gaps.Re useable and awesome for bacteria/compost teas.And better on the environment than peat.

i always thougth coir to be inert? do compressed coir bricks contain good bacteria?

I think he means it has a high CEC, good pH, etc and is good for growing with teas
