Whilst holding the plant upside down in your right hand, use your fingers and palm to stop any soil dropping out,tap the bottom of the pot a few times and then remove pot.

Make sure that the new pot has enough soil in the bottom to bring the height of the old soil up to the height of the new soil.Place rootball in pot and gently fill in around the edge.DO NOT press down on the soil.Rather pick up new pot with soil/plant in and gently tap the base on the floor.this will let the soil settle without compression.Fill in any more space created and leave a gap of one inch at the top of the pot for water application.

Voila!

remove pot when the root ball is quite dry (so the heavy wet soil doesnt damage roots)
gently massage/squeese the corners/sides of the container to release the root ball,
turn the pot upside down with stem between your middle fingers and give a firm tap on the bottom the container...
place plant into new container and give a good watering of kelp (kelp helps with transplant shock)
make sure plant root system is well established into new container before flipping lights to 12/12 to reduce sstttrrrrreeeettttccchh.

 got it, id like to ask you guys another easy question, hope you dont mind.
Lets say my soil is pretty much completly dry and the pot is roughly the size of a beer cup, how much water should i add? becuase right now i just mist the soil like 4 or 5 times whenever it dries, like every 2 days or so

If you cut slits in the bottom of the beer cup you really can't over water a media like sunshine providing you give it wet dry cycles. The wet to dry cycle is critical as this draws out the roots to search for moisture. The easiest way I've found to do this is to take sizzors and cut into the bottom corner of the cup half a dozen times around the base. The biggest thing with new dry media is it may have to be watered lightly and rechecked the next day as it hydrates some. Really, your not looking to drown the kids, just be reasonable about it and they will be happy. I don't need to see any runoff out of the beer cup to know its wet enuf if i put in a few ounces or half cup to a cup of water. The easiest way to tell if a pot needs water is to pick it up:)I have lots of beer cups full of sunshine media that I just water till happy or runoff when they need it.

Also for transplants ' I like Mike'
if you don't know Mike, here's a hint;)
